For last week's Buzzworthy challenge, I asked you guys to bookmark your favorite albums by girls with guitars. It's tough to resist a solid album from a good female singer-songwriter; some of my favorites include Cat Power, Aimee Mann, or that old standby, Tapestry by Carole King. I'm not crazy about the new Rosie Thomas album, These Friends of Mine. It's pleasant enough, but if I want to listen to a good female singer-songwriter, I'd much rather put on some Cat Power (pictured), Aimee Mann, or that old standby, Tapestry by Carole King.

Tom Cruise Gets Shirtless, Looks Hot in the New W!

Tom Cruise is shirtless on the cover of June's W magazine. He posed for a spread tattooed up and channeling his Rock of Ages character Stacee Jaxx. The movie, a big-screen adaptation of a musical, is out in the US on June 15 and sees Tom paired up on the big screen with costars Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, and many more. Tom spoke with the publication about his desire to make a musical at this point in his career, as well as his background in music. He apparently even suggested an addition to the cast to director Adam Shankman. Here are highlights from Tom Cruise's interview in W:

On growing up singing: "I did the scene from Risky Business around the house. I would sing Bob Seger - my mother worked, my sisters were out, and I'd turn the music up. I learned how to dance watching Soul Train. I noticed that if a guy could dance, he'd get a lot of attention and girls would want to dance with him. I worked very hard at imitating those moves."
On making a musical at this point in his career: "Kate [Holmes] loves musicals. She sings and dances, and we kind of went through the history of musicals together. And Suri loved Hairspray. With kids, you watch everything over and over; I watched Hairspray 15 times with Suri. I thought Adam Shankman did a great job directing the movie, so I arranged to meet him and said, 'Where's our musical?' He came back and said, 'Rock of Ages.' We went and saw it in LA, and for me . . . I didn't know how to play the character like that. I had to find my own Stacee Jaxx."
On taking vocal lessons: "I needed to find out if I could really sing! . . . And then I had to learn how to play guitar. I'm very good at air guitar - and air drums - but I had never played an actual guitar. After working for weeks on Stacee’s technical skills, I was thinking about the character, and I said, 'You know what? I need a monkey.' Adam said, 'What the f-ck are you talking about?' And I said, 'I'm serious - I need a monkey.' When Stacee's not on stage, he's kind of sad. And I thought, 'This guy has to have a monkey that's his best friend.' Adam found this baboon. He sent me the baboon’s audition tape, and I said, 'The baboon's name has to be Hey Man [laughs].' Stacee Jaxx doesn't work without Hey Man."

Apparently, Mollie and Harry have been friends since first meeting at the Asprey World Class Cup in 2010, and they were spotted karaoking together at London's Bunga Bunga club last week. Here are five things to know about the woman who may have stolen Harry's heart:

In February, she ended a nearly one-year relationship with Brit model David Gandy. He's best known for showing off his body in the steamy Dolce & Gabbana ad for "Light Blue."
Mollie is best known for being in girl group The Saturdays. Before that she was in another girl group Fallen Angelz, which competed on The X Factor.
She had a successful skiing career that she gave up to pursue singing, and she enjoys jet skiing and water skiing.
She's opened up about struggling in school due to her dyslexia.
She plays the acoustic guitar in addition to singing and songwriting.
According to Mollie's band bio, Carrie Bradshaw is her idol.

Abigail Breslin Rocks Out in the Janie Jones Trailer

Janie Jones premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival back in April, and the movie is heading to theaters this October. In the trailer for the film starring Abigail Breslin and Alessandro Nivola, we see a junkie mother (Elisabeth Shue) dropping off her 13-year-old daughter Janie (Breslin) at the seedy club where the girl's rocker dad Ethan (Nivola) is about to take the stage. The dumbfounded father, who up until that moment didn't know he had a daughter, is left to balance drugs, booze, and fatherhood as he hits the road with his band and daughter in an effort to revive his flailing career.

When his band members can't deal with Ethan's reckless behavior anymore and abandon the tour, the father-daughter bonding can finally begin. Cue Ethan stumbling upon Janie playing the guitar in an empty alleyway, and the pair conveniently have a shared interest to fuel their relationship. Though the film is inspired by a true story, the preview makes the happenings look a little too easy - especially when Janie's dad starts using her songs. Jennifer Aniston Is Red-Hot in a Cleavage-Baring Dress For Her Perfume Signing

Jennifer Aniston stopped by a Sephora store in NYC to promote her eponymous perfume this afternoon. She looked radiant in a tight, bright dress that showed plenty of skin at the event, during which she greeted fans and signed bottles of her scent. The beachy clean Jennifer Aniston fragrance launched last year, and the star already made appearances on The View and in Mexico to promote the project. Jennifer has since gotten back to work on her movies though, having recently wrapped up directing her short film, Project Five, in LA. She'll continue her work on a full-length feature, The Goree Girls, which will apparently show off her singing and guitar-playing skills. We'll also get to see Jennifer Aniston up on the big screen with her Summer comedy Horrible Bosses, which is out July 8.

Katherine Heigl pushed her new short hair back behind her sunglasses yesterday when she headed out to visit her mother Nancy's home in LA with her young daughter, Naleigh. Nancy was able to go along with Katherine and her husband, Josh, on a recent Florida vacation, where the actress showed off a range of bikinis. The Kelley-Heigl gang got back to California last week, as Josh had to do interviews to support the release of his new album, Georgia Clay. He spoke about the musical atmosphere in his household and Naleigh's evolving tastes, saying, "She loves it when I sing - if I'm playing the piano or guitar, she'll come over and sing with me . . . She's a really smart girl. She'll come over and strum my guitar and even sing in the right key."
