Maybe it's the massive success of shows like Gossip Girl and The O.C.. Maybe it's because Juno was so endearing and filmmakers are desperate to make "the next Juno." Maybe it is, as I mused in my review of the documentary American Teen, simply that people are often interested in stories about teenagers because everyone can relate to the experience of going through adolescence.

Ga-ga ooh la la! This week's Gossip Girl copped a lot of its theme from the song that Lady Gaga sang on her guest spot: "Bad Romance." Love triangles, affairs, crushes and crumbling marriages — they're all here in my top WTF moments from this week's episode.

More appropriately titled "The Threesome Episode," this week's Gossip Girl is less about that saucy moment, and more about the politics on the Upper East Side. Jenny is rising, Serena is floundering; and even without the three-way, I found this episode way more enjoyable than last week's. As usual, let's get into the parts of the show that made you say OMFG and WTF — and to chat more, don't forget to participate in the XOXO Gossip Girl group in the BuzzSugar Community!

Political scandals! Early relationship gaffes on late night shows! This week's Gossip Girl had some less typical subject matter, but not every week can have a threesome, you know?

This week's Gossip Girl is all about public relations: good, bad, free, and the kind that costs you your relationships. It's a pretty entertaining episode, what with the characters decked out in their '20s Halloween finest for Chuck's new club Gimlet (which we sneaked a peek at last week) — not to mention seeing a clip from a vampire franchise that felt very familiar. Is this week's episode as good as last week's?

From Tyra to Tory to Hilary, it was a guest star collage in this week's Gossip Girl. It made for a less scandalous episode than last week, but it was, for lack of a better word, fun. I've recapped my favorite moments here, so check them out, and let me know what you thought of this week's episode.

Are we back on the horse now? After a couple of OK episodes of Gossip Girl, this week's "The Lost Boy" really felt like the show I know and love. Everyone's playing everyone else, everyone's lying to everyone else, mysteries solve and then re-form .

You may recall that Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator behind Gilmore Girls, left the show shortly before its final season because of disagreements with Warner Bros — but now, she reveals in a recent interview that she'd like to bring back Lorelai and Rory to the big screen!
I hope that some Hollywood studios are listening, and take her up on her suggestion. While it's just a wish of hers (and mine) at the moment, I miss the pop culture quips and sweet relationship moments that the Gilmore women delivered each week.
