- Donald Trump and Fox are planning a show called "Lady or a Tramp," in which rowdy, bawdy party girls will be sent to charm school and taught proper manners. Great, because 1) when I think manners, I think Trump, and 2) I really needed another reality show to showcase the worst of womankind. They'd never do a show like this with partyboys, would they?
- ABC is filming a reality series in which overweight people will walk from Boston to Washington, D.C.

Well, it looks like things at Oceanside Wellness will probably get worse before they get better. On this week's Private Practice, Sam and Addison solemnly try to get things back on track financially while encouraging the others to drum up new business. It's an unnatural state for this group to be in because no one likes the way Sam rules, and "drumming up new business" when you are in the business of helping people be healthy seems wrong.

After seeing the just-announced lineup of films showing at the South by Southwest festival this year, I'm salivating. There are some movies premiering at SXSW that I've been patiently awaiting for what feels like forever, like Run, Fat Boy, Run with Simon Pegg and Hank Azaria. Then there are others that I'd just love to see before they are actually released, like Forgetting Sarah Marshall (later opening April 18), the Kevin Spacey casino movie 21 (opening March 28) and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (April 25).

Who knows why the studios do what they do? It took me a while to forgive the moving of the U.S. release date for Simon Pegg comedy (directed by David Schwimmer) Run, Fat Boy, Run from October 26, 2007 to March 28, 2008.
