The X Factor Renewed For Season 2

I guess this means we don't have to worry about missing Simon Cowell from our TVs again: The X Factor has been renewed for a second season. Fox has picked up the reality singing competition, which is several weeks into its first season.

Creator Cowell had a few happy words about the development: "I am absolutely thrilled with the news. I have loved making the show and I want to thank Fox, our sponsors and most importantly the fans for supporting The X Factor." Are you excited that the show will be around for another season?

FX Renews American Horror Story For a Second Season

Halloween is finally here, but FX is prepared to offer viewers scares long after the holiday is over. The network has announced that it will renew American Horror Story for a second season. The drama focuses on a family that moves into a new home only to discover it has a dark history. The show delivers frights in each episode by revealing the vicious series of crimes that have occurred in the home, but the real intrigue for me lies in finding out what the handful of ghosts that haunt the Harmon family want from them - as well as who (or what) Connie Britton's character will give birth to! I'll definitely be tuning in to watch the mysteries unfold, but if you've missed American Horror Story, you can get caught up on the home's sinister history when FX airs a four-episode marathon tonight.

Do You Want to Keep Up With Once Upon a Time's Story?

We were invited into ABC's magical new drama Once Upon a Time last night and met Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and more in the premiere episode. The plight of the fairy-tale characters is revealed - the wicked queen puts a spell on them and the others in fairyland to force them to live in the real world, unaware of their true identities, and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is the key to setting them free. I'm already looking forward to next week to see the mystery unfold, as well as to see more of how the storybook characters behave in our world. But was the pilot enough to capture your imagination? If you watched the premiere or Once Upon a Time, tell us if you'll keep tuning into see what happens.

Tell Us Why You're Watching 2 Broke Girls

CBS's new Fall comedy 2 Broke Girls recently earned a whole season thanks to good ratings, so we thought we'd ask you all why you're loving the show. The sitcom's broke-but-beautiful girls, Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs), are proving to be a charming if unlikely comedy team. As capable as the stars are, I have mixed feelings about the writing - it's quippy and full of pop culture references, but some of the jokes are starting to get repetitive (there could be a dangerous drinking game for every time Max references being poor). However, I plan on staying tuned to see if the comedy finds its footing, especially since I'm enjoying Behrs so much. Your turn - are you watching 2 Broke Girls, and if so, tell me why!

ABC Cancels Charlie's Angels

We all saw this one coming: ABC has pulled the plug on the Charlie's Angels reboot after four episodes. The show has struggled with ratings from its inception, though ABC will continue to air the rest of the finished episodes during the show's Thursday night time slot. Will you miss the angels?

Revenge and Suburgatory Get Full Seasons, Too

Revenge has never tasted so sweet: ABC has just picked up freshman series Suburgatory and Revenge for full seasons! We fell in love with both the Jeremy Sisto comedy and Emily VanCamp drama immediately, so naturally we're excited that the shows will be sticking around for the remainder of the TV season. Are you hooked on either of these shows?

CW Gives Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle Full Seasons

News just broke that the CW picked up Ringer for a full season, and now the network has revealed its other freshman dramas, Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle, will get full seasons as well. The Secret Circle, which stars CW alum Britt Robertson, has scored the highest ratings out of the network's new dramas (and is currently the second highest rated show on the entire network), while Hart of Dixie, which stars Rachel Bilson, has benefited from its Gossip Girl lead-in. All three dramas will get 22 episodes for their premiere seasons. Have you been tuning in?

Ringer Picked Up For a Full Season

Good news for Ringer fans: the CW has picked up the show for a full season. The freshman drama is the first of the network's new shows to get the greenlight, after H8R was dropped last week. If you've been on the fence about the show (like we have), this could be a good reason to get back into it. Are you excited to see more of Sarah Michelle Gellar in Ringer?
