Dish! Who Do Brit and Adnan Remind You Of?

In a recent Entertainment Tonight interview with douchelord supreme Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo who is exploiting his "friendship" with Britney Spears to make a buck, the interviewer compared Britney to Princess Diana because Britney is relentlessly hounded by the paparazzi. "And because she's dating an Arab," Adnan mumbled modestly, referring to billionaire film producer Dodi Al-Fayed, who dated Diana at the end of her life and perished with her in a car crash. Am I the only one who thinks this comparison is beyond ridiculous? What couple do they remind you of?

Tom Cruise in Lions for Lambs, Out of Germany

I'm finding it difficult to take Tom Cruise seriously - ever since the couch-jumping and disparaging remarks about psychiatry I've cast a wary eye on him - but the German military is taking him very seriously. Cruise's attempts to shoot his Nazi drama Valkyrie have been thwarted by the German military because Cruise is a Scientologist. According to the article:

Defense Ministry spokesman Harald Kammerbauer said the film makers "will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult."

That's the second time in recent history that Scientologist actors have come under fire for the characters they are portraying: Gay critics have lashed out at the casting of John Travolta as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, complaining that an iconic gay character such as Edna (previously played by Divine in John Waters' Hairspray) should not be played by an actor who belongs to a church believed to have homophobic views.

While Cruise and his people are duking it out with the German military, however, a few snippets from Cruise's next movie Lions for Lambs were recently aired on "Entertainment Tonight." The movie stars Meryl Streep and Robert Redford (Redford also directs), and from the clips it looks like the two actors who are not Tom Cruise are excellent as usual, while Cruise is, again, pretty hard to take seriously. Kanye West Shows PDA With Kim and Jay-Z Dances to B's Music at Big Cannes Premiere

Kanye West posed with a Balmain-clad Kim Kardashian at the Belvedere-sponsored premiere of his Cruel Summer in Cannes this evening. Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio's pal Lukas Haas were also on hand for the event, which was Kanye's first at the Cannes Film Festival. Kanye said of the production, "It's actually kind of surreal seeing the film come to fruition right here. I can dream one day that this will be the way that one day people will watch movies. I want to change what entertainment experiences are like."

Kim and Kanye spent the day together in the South of France and stuck by each other's side for tonight's bash as well. We spotted them showing serious PDA and kissing throughout the party. Jay-Z, meanwhile, snacked on sushi and bobbed his head when the DJ played Beyoncé's "Love on Top." Some of Jay-Z's own jams provided the soundtrack for the big night as well.

Couples Go Classy For the White House Correspondents' Dinner

Politically inclined actors like George Clooney were joined by a range of Hollywood stars like Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian tonight in Washington DC for the White House Correspondents' dinner. All the famous faces from entertainment, media, and politics put aside their day jobs and donned their finest for the annual night of wining, dining, and jokes. But it was the couples who are making smart look the sexiest. Victoria's Secret model Chrissy Teigen was on the arm of her fiancé John Legend, and tweeting and Instagraming from the exclusive event. She proved she doesn't take herself too seriously, sharing a pic of her with something in her teeth and telling her followers that a congressman believed her when she joked she was a congresswoman. All in all, it looks like a memorable date night. Check out some of the cute and classy couples from tonight's event.

Josh Hutcherson Talks Catching Fire's New Director at the GLAAD Awards

Josh Hutcherson was honored with the Vanguard Award tonight in downtown LA at the GLAAD Media Awards. The celebration honored actors, entertainers, TV shows, and films that have helped support the LGBT community through their work. Joshua Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Betty White, Ali Larter, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were also in attendance to lend their support to the cause. Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson was yet another guest of honor and accepted an award on behalf of his hit sitcom during the ceremony.

We caught up with Josh on the press line to talk about his campaign for Straight Not Narrow, which is geared toward combating homophobia, and the most inspiring letter he received from a teen who was touched by its message. We also spoke with him about the news that Francis Lawrence, the director behind Water For Elephants and I Am Legend, will helm Catching Fire. Josh admitted to us that he hasn't yet met Francis but expressed excitement about working with him on the second installment of the franchise, which is set to hit theaters in the Fall of 2013. American Idol Goes '80s and Jennifer Lopez Is Moved to Tears

Jennifer Lopez waved to the crowd as she took the stage for last night's episode of American Idol. She was joined by her fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, for this week's two-hour live production. The contestants entertained the crowd with songs from the '80s, and were mentored by No Doubt's Gwen Stefani and Tony Kanal.

Things kicked off with a soulful performance of "I Like It" from DeAndre Brackensick and wrapped with Skylar Laine's "Wind Beneath My Wings" that moved Jennifer to tears. The eight remaining contestants return tonight for the results. J Lo will share some of her own music tonight with the world premiere of her video for "Dance Again" that features a blindfolded J Lo alongside boyfriend Casper Smart. Don't forget, you can win a chance to meet and interview Jennifer Lopez before her next film, What to Expect When You're Expecting, hits theaters on May 18.
