AnnaLynne McCord Gets Back in Her Bikini and Beside Her New Boyfriend

There was more AnnaLynne McCord bikini time on the LA set of 90210 yesterday. It was the latest afternoon spent shooting for AnnaLynne, who's working on the series's upcoming season with costars like Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup. She seems to have ended her on-again, off-again relationship with Kellan Lutz, and she's taken up with a new guy 18 years her senior. AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell are dating after meeting on the set of their last movie, Officer Down. He spent time with her between scenes, and they were able to take a PDA-filled stroll. Forty-one-year-old Dominic, a Brit born in London, is best known for his work on Prison Break, and he'll be on the big screen again soon, starring opposite his countrymen Clive Owen and Jason Statham in Killer Elite.

TV Tonight: Prison Break Returns For One Last Run

Prison Break is a series that - to its credit - has probably managed to hang on far longer than its premise suggested it could. It seemed like a one season kind of show, two at best. Somehow, Prison Break has kept adding stories and twists, creating four seasons full of drama. But starting tonight, it really is approaching the end.

And everyone, from Fox executives to the series' creator, seems to think that's for the best: "The ideas that were tossed around in terms of what could be season five were pretty thin," executive producer Matt Olmstead said recently. There's a feeling among the cast and crew that the whole story was told - or at least will be by the time this final run is over.

Tonight starts with a repeat of Prison Break's most recent episode. Then a new one airs, the first of six total new hours (the series finale, scheduled for May 15, is two hours long). Two additional hours of Prison Break exist - they're actually a stand-alone movie, which may or may not ever air on Fox but will be released on DVD - but fans shouldn't worry: Olmstead said "everything gets wrapped up" in the May 15 episode, so the other two hours are more of a bonus than a necessity.

Geeky Fanboys and Girls Enjoy Dreamy Comic-Con Weekend!

Wow could this line up of Comic-Con attendees be any more fun? Talk about a manjoyment fest, yummy. Joshua Jackson missed the TCAs, but made it out to promote Fringe at the convention while J.J. Abrams also rewarded fans of his other show Lost with some of the stars, upcoming show tidbits, and Dharma Initiative-approved gifts. Even better, the lucky audience at the Heroes panel were treated not only to cast members including Milo and Hayden, but the first episode of the new season - check out what lucky Buzz had to say about that! Thankfully it looks like Justin Long was in better spirits while James Franco was cute as always. Buzz is down in San Diego for all the fun so don't miss any of her coverage here!

Prison Break Just Keeps Escaping Cancellation

How do they keep doing it? Prison Break is one of those shows that seemed to have a really solid premise for one season. Maybe two. Certainly not three - and four? Out of the question.

Except that this Fox drama just keeps dodging the bullet. This week, Fox announced that Prison Break is returning for a fourth season of 22 episodes, which will begin airing in the Fall. The series will relocate from Dallas to Los Angeles, where key storylines will be taking place.

The show only got to air 13 episodes this season because of the writers' strike, but they certainly weren't lacking in drama - much revolving around the departure of a major character. It isn't a very highly rated show (the 13 episodes averaged 8.2 million viewers) but the audience it has seems to be enough to keep Fox happy. A spinoff focusing on a women's prison is also still in the works, likely focusing on a character that will be introduced sometime in the fourth season.

"Prison Break" Fans: Here's the Real Story with Sara

So, that was some pretty shocking stuff on this week's "Prison Break," right? Luckily, I've tracked down a couple of interviews that reveal the real story behind the twisted developments. They're all pretty spoiler-y, but if you're ready to talk about the episode, just

So Sara is really, absolutely, totally dead - and with her head chopped off and in a box, no less, despite previous assurances that she would spend season three alive and well.

According to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, who interviewed producer Matt Olmstead, what you saw last night wasn't the original plan. The writers decided they needed to kill Sara at some point to keep Michael's story fresh in season three, but actress Sarah Wayne Callies and the show could never come to terms on a contract. As Olmstead told Ausiello:

Our initial idea was to have [Sarah/Sara appear in] the first 13 episodes, so she and Michael could have a proper goodbye. There were going to be some really emotional scenes where he tried to save her from dying, but she ultimately passed. So then we whittled it down to 11 episodes, then 10 episodes, then nine episodes, then four episodes…. Then we suggested flying to her - she was pregnant [at the time] and living in a remote part of Canada - and bringing a camera crew to her house, but that wasn't accepted. We then whittled it down to just a phone conversation, and that was turned down, too.

For her part, Callies issued a statement saying, "As hard as we all tried, the 'Prison Break' powers that be and I were unable to find a way to meet both the needs of the story and the needs of my family." For the reactions of the other cast members, check out this video interview.

Callies also expressed hope that fans would keep watching the show, so I'm wondering: Will you? Or is this too big a leap for you to take?

AnnaLynne McCord took a break from shooting 90210 yesterday and headed to the beach for some fun under the sun with her dad, David. AnnaLynne modeled a retro bikini last month, but for her latest romp in the sand she slipped into a tie-dyed two-piece by Bettinis Bikinis. She was one of Winter's hottest bikini-clad stars and it looks like she's looking to secure her sexy status for Spring.

AnnaLynne spent the afternoon working on her tan and chatting with her dad and boyfriend Dominic Purcell, who also stopped by, before she takes off on her latest trip to Africa. The actress is reportedly also heading back to Cambodia to visit the Somaly Mam Foundation, where she's volunteered in the past.

Despite the Hollywood location, things seemed to be rather chilly, and AnnaLynne made sure to cover up with her robe between shots. The sight of AnnaLynne in her bathing costume isn't an infrequent one - in September, AnnaLynne wore a white bikini for another afternoon before the cameras. AnnaLynne and her cast-mates are wrapping up a successful 2011 with their series. She's had a highlight in her personal life, too, teaming up with her Officer Down costar Dominic Purcell off screen.

Casting Update: Who's in For Paradise Lost

John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost is coming to the big screen next year, and it's getting a makeover as a 3D action film, directed by Alex Proyas. The classic piece of literature describes how the angel Lucifer was cast out of heaven after he starts a war against God with his fellow archangels. It also deals with the subsequent fall of man after the he tempts Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Bradley Cooper was the first star to join the project as the devil, but the rest of the ensemble is starting to come together. See who else has also signed on and who they'll be playing in the film.

Bradley Cooper is playing Lucifer, the angel who falls from heaven and leads a revolt against God.
Casey Affleck is attached to the part of the angel Gabriel, the leader of the guards who watch over Eden.
Diego Boneta (who's starring in the upcoming Rock of Ages) has signed on to play Adam, the one half of the human couple in Eden, the home God created for humans.
Camilla Belle will play Eve, Adam's counterpart who is tempted to eat the forbidden fruit offered by Satan in serpent form in the Garden of Eden.
Dominic Purcell, best known for the TV series Prison Break, is portraying Jerahmeel, a fallen angel who joins up with Lucifer and receives a new name on the dark side: Moloch.
Djimon Hounsou is set for Abdiel, the angel of death.
Benjamin Walker will play the archangel Michael, who God names as commander of Heaven's army.
Callan McAuliffe is playing Uriel, another archangel who is second in command to Michael.
Rufus Sewell has the role of Samael, a supporter of Lucifer who encourages him to incite the rebellion in Heaven.
