You have two very sneaky men lurking around Wisteria Lane - and at least one has a murderous side. But if Preston gets his way and marries Irina, Lynette may just kill a person or two, herself!

One character actually says goodbye to such drama by packing a suitcase and leaving the ladies of the cul-de-sac. Well, for now, at least. Who is it? Jump right in to find out (warning: spoilers ahead) when you

What is Sam's deal?! The supposed illegitimate son of Rex causes more strife for the Van de Camps, as Bree takes to him like the perfect child she never had (sorry, Andrew and Danielle). The real kicker is when he tells Bree that he plays guitar - just like his dad, what a coincidence! - and she offers up Rex's old instrument. Andrew gets furious and smashes it against the fireplace, but Orson isn't exactly convinced, either, and tells Andrew to do a little digging. I, for one, cannot wait to see what turns up - did you catch that creepy smirk on Sam's face as he was listening in on Bree and Orson?

Preston is still rocking that porn 'stache. Even worse, he and Irina are bumping up their wedding date, which has Lynette furious. First, she catches Preston and Irina sneaking in sex under her roof. Then, Preston informs his parents that he and Irina are moving into their own place, and he's forgoing college to be a gutter at a meatpacking factory. You can imagine Lynette's fury, which climaxes with Irina throwing a bowl of borscht all over Lynette's blouse. This is obviously headed toward disaster, but will the wedding happen or get thwarted beforehand?

Katherine is in a bind when Robin wants to attend a party for Karen McCluskey as a couple. A paranoid Katherine goes, but only under the guise of being roommates. The two women get into a jealous lover's quarrel during a badly timed moment of silence, and their lesbian secret is revealed. Katherine is mortified, so Mrs. McCluskey gives her the advice to forget what people think or to go somewhere people don't care. Which is what Katherine decides. She picks up her bags with Robin and the two leave Wisteria Lane.

Susan and Gaby get embroiled in a mommy war when both of their kids enter the school's chocolate selling contest. The gloves come off as Gaby tries to pass off the candy to construction workers in a skintight skirt (and, as Susan puts it, with "a cold wind, no bra"), and Susan has MJ fake a handicap. But once Susan realizes that all Juanita really wants is for Gaby to be proud, she convinces MJ to step down, so Juanita wins. It solves Juanita's problems for the time being, but will Gaby ever realize that she only wants her affection?

Angie's ex, Patrick Logan, is coming back in a big way. He shows up at the house of Rose's neighbor Iris and strangles her to keep his plot secret (anyone else reminded of those awful Broadview Home Security ads when he smashes her window?). Meanwhile, Angie tells Nick that Danny never has to know about his real father, since Nick has always been there. Too bad then that Patrick arrives toward the end of the episode, leering on as Danny hops into his car. You just know that Angie's gun is going to come back into play.

What did you think of the episode? Any guesses as to Sam's real motives? And will Patrick kill Angie - or go after Nick (or both)? Share you hypothesis in the comments, or head over to the Desperate Housewives Fans group in Community to chat some more.

Desperate Housewives Recap, "Chromolume #7

Well, it seems like this week's episode of Desperate Housewives is a bit of a signal that we're starting to head down the homestretch of the season. We already know that the finale will be a big revelation (and will mark Drea de Matteo's exit as Angie), so the secrets have slowly started to spill out.

This week we got a few fairly big reveals: Angie opens up to Gaby about her deep dark secret, and Bree discovers Sam's hidden agenda. The Scavos have some drama of their own when Preston comes home from Europe while Susan and Mike's problems are dwarfed in comparison to what's happening with their neighbors. Let the recapping begin when you

First and foremost, can we talk about Preston's mustache? I know a lot went down this week, but the image of him in the plaid lumberjack shirt with the ridiculous porn 'stache is seared in my brain. To go with his new look, he brings home a foxy girlfriend named Irina, who Lynette immediately identifies as a gold digger. Poor Preston has yet to bring home a nice girl to his parents (remember when he was sleeping with his friend's mom?) and I don't see this one ending well for him either. Hopefully, though, it will prompt him to shave.

Thanks to cameos from Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova, we learn that Gaby was even sassier back during her modeling days. When she heads back to NYC to track down Ana, she realizes that her friends were actually enemies and that Ana is following right along in her footsteps. Gaby manages to convince Ana to work on her 'tude and stay on a good path (you know, so someday guys can ogle her face along with whatever piece of machinery she's posing with).

Danny has a busy week of winning back Ana's heart, meeting his grandma for the first time, and feuding with his mom. Angie and her mother have a heartfelt reunion. . . and then Angie gets slapped. Poor grandma just wants to spend time with her family, and assures Angie that Patrick doesn't care about them anymore. Of course, Patrick has a spy who manages to see right through Angie's clever disguise and report back to him. Um, after 18 years that's the best he can do? Or do you think he's actually been spying on the family all along and is the guy who attacked Julie?

Sam's only been around for one episode but that's enough to make Andrew bonkers. He shows up at work drunk when Sam immediately gets promoted - though can you really blame him? Bree accidentally discovers that Rex is Sam's father (because Sam leaves his door unlocked; it's really too simple), and Sam gives Bree a long, emotional, explanation of how he always wanted to be part of Rex's perfect family. I still can't decide if Sam has some sort of creepy ulterior motive, especially because he has no real ties to Bree. Wouldn't he be more interested in connecting with his half brother? Apparently not.

So Angie breaks down and tells Gaby the nitty gritty about her past life: she was an environmentalist out to save the world, got mixed up with a bad guy, and - oops! - someone got murdered. None of this is news to us, but then she drops the bomb and tells Gaby that Patrick is Danny's real father. I don't know how I didn't see that one coming, but my jaw totally dropped.

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "The Chase"

This week's episode of Desperate Housewives brings some interesting new developments: notably, Katherine's relationship with Robin progresses, Bree gets an interesting new employee, and the Bolens learn of Danny's whereabouts. As for the other housewives, Susan meddles in Mrs. McCluskey's relationship while Gaby bonds with Bob Lee and Lynette makes a major mommy no-no.

Ready to recap all the happenings on Wisteria Lane? Just

So, Celia comes home with a case of chicken pox, giving Gaby an all-expenses paid vacation at chez Bob and Lee. Naturally, Gaby settles down nicely into their lavish lifestyle, which comes complete with cocktails, nap time, and parties where she can reminisce about her modeling days. It's all fun and games until she accidentally happens upon their unfinished nursery, and Bob admits that he and Lee are trying to adopt. I thought Bob and Lee's heart-to-heart was really refreshing, especially since the couple is usually the comic relief on the block. I'd love to see them trying to raise a baby in their perfectly fancy house.

I am so not buying that Lynette and Tom manage to forget about Penny's birthday. First of all, don't 11-year-olds still get big birthday parties these days? And what 10-year-old doesn't start talking about their birthday weeks (if not months) in advance - and start asking for presents? And is it just me, or does Lynette blame everything on her pregnancy? I'm ready for the new baby to bring in some new drama for the Scavos.

Roy and Karen's engagement is totally cute. . . until Roy ruins it with his wandering eye problem. Luckily the whole thing is resolved, and all tied up with a sweet bow when Karen's cancer scare makes Roy realize his feelings. I just hope poor Mrs. McCluskey pulls through!

Bree's new employee, Sam, comes on strong, lays it on thick, and doesn't stop there. He quickly uncovers Andrew's affair with Tad, the bonehead new worker, and in no time has Bree wrapped around his finger. Bree's done her fair share of manipulating, so I was surprised that she doesn't see right through his antics.

The cat's out of the bag once Sam looks lovingly at Andrew's "World's Best Son" mug (hilarious throwback to The Office, by the way). So, is Sam Bree's long-lost son, or is he just a nut that wants to be her new son? Either way, I don't like where this is going.

All it takes is one sexy dream for Katherine to reconsider her stance on Robin, and they end up in the sack. I like Robin as a fresh face on the show, but I can totally see Katherine pulling a 180 and calling it a one-night experiment. Do you want to see them pursue the relationship?

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "Lovely"

This week on Desperate Housewives, Robin settles into her new life on Wisteria Lane - and perhaps gets a bit too comfortable. Once Susan spills the beans about Robin's former life as a stripper, it isn't long before each of the housewives has their own run-in with their brand-new neighbor.

By the end of the episode we learn a little more about how biased the Wisteria Lane ladies are, and a whole lot more about what makes Robin tick. To get into it, just

This isn't the first time Desperate Housewives has experimented with the vignette-like episode, but this time around I really enjoyed it and felt like each story stood well on its own.

It seemed like most of the housewives treat Robin less like a stripper and more like a prostitute, and apparently the confusion is universal. I was kind of shocked that Parker tries to pay for sex and is so desperate to lose that V-card when he's only 16-years-old. On the bright side, Tom's speech was sweet, and I especially loved hearing the story of Tom and Lynette's first date.

So after all that insisting that Ana graduate from high school, Gaby and Carlos decide to uproot her and ship her off to New York just to get her away from Danny. Seriously? I would have understood if there were another attack on Wisteria Lane or if Danny had engaged in violet behavior, but Gaby and Carlos really need to sabotage their relationship?

Bree is by far the most hilarious this week, thanks to one of the most awkward lap dances I've ever seen. After getting some advice from Robin, she decides to spice things up by dancing "proactively" to The Nutcracker (which, of course, is part of the turn-on for Orson). It all works out for the best, though, and my favorite line of the night goes to Orson: "If you're having a stroke, we'll make a great team."

Susan's good-doing comes crashing down quickly when she learns of Robin's chiropractic skills. All the over-emphasized sex noises coming from Mike's pain relief are too much for her to bear, and Robin decides to move out. It didn't make much sense for Susan to take in a complete stranger in the first place, but the way she kicked her out seemed even more bizarre.

The juiciest story of the episode goes to Katherine. What starts out as an innocent girls' bonding night gets scandalous when Robin plants a big one on Katherine. At first, it just seems like an act to put some jerks in their place, but Robin later reveals that she's a "card-carrying" lesbian. Katherine seems a bit uncomfortable initially, but at the end of the episode it's clear that she's going to weigh her options with her new roommate. Definitely not what I expected, but I'll be happy to see Katherine move on with anyone as long as she's not stalking Mike anymore.

How'd you feel about this week's episode? Would you be perturbed if a stripper moved on to your block?

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "The Glamorous Life"

While many of us were all wrapped up in Grammy hoopla, the ladies of Wisteria Lane were stirring up a little trouble of their own. This week lots of relationships were strengthened: Lynette and Tom's, Bree and Orson's, um, Danny and Ana's. . . meanwhile, Angie showed off more of her angry streak as we continue to inch closer to learning the Bolens' big secret.

Ready to discuss? Dive into the spoilers when you

Bree: Bree is confused when Orson suddenly seems peaceful and apathetic about his condition and starts giving away all of his stuff. The truth comes out when she finds Orson's suicide note (or should I say "suicide rough draft"?), and quickly "forbids" him from killing himself (shocker). The rest of their little dance is black comedy, as Orson heckles a pair of handicapped men Bree brings to the house to make him feel better. Their situation comes to a head at an anniversary party, when Bree realizes she wants a future with Orson just as Orson is about to steer his wheelchair into the pool. Though Bree admits that she's not currently in love with him, she wants to try to get back what they once had, and they share a damn good kiss. I'd love to see Bree and Orson back to their wacky-but-believable chemistry - they were a lot more fun when they cared about each other.

Angie and Gaby: Angie and Gaby are at odds about whether or not they need to impart words of wisdom about safe sex to Danny and Ana. Angie thinks it's Gaby's job to set Ana straight about birth control since the kids will do what they want regardless of what their parents say, but Carlos has his own opinion. Once Carlos plants the idea of another baby in the house in Gaby's mind, she bribes Ana into chastity. Of course, that doesn't stop Ana from fooling around with Danny - on Gaby's couch, no less (how dumb are they? That's what backseats are for!). Naturally, Carlos walks in and promptly puts Danny in a choke hold. Angie's temper comes to a boiling point when she witnesses the spat through the window, and puts her own claim on Carlos's life. Though everyone gets out unharmed (well, except for one of the Solises' vases), Angie is clearly bent out of shape. Later, Carlos and Gaby head over to the Bolens to make peace when they eavesdrop on Nick having words with Angie - about not blowing their cover. The episode ends with Gaby and Angie narrowing their eyes at each other, and it can't be long now before the Bolens' past starts to unravel. Who knew all it would take is a little makeout sesh between Danny and Ana to put the pressure on?

Susan: While cutting ties with her brief ownership of "Double Ds," Susan chats up one of the employees and inadvertently convinces her to quit stripping and pursue her dreams. At first, Susan is thrilled to see Robin on Wisteria Lane - until Robin declares Susan her new role model. Instead of panicking in typical Susan fashion, she lands Robin a job as her assistant at school. Unfortunately, the father of a student recognizes Robin and she's fired after only one day (that's got to be illegal in some way, right?). Susan convinces Mike to let Robin move in, much to MJ's delight (was anyone else creeped out by the way MJ asks Robin to give him a bath?). I can't wait to see where this one goes - I just hope she doesn't try to seduce Mike since we've had more than our fair share of Mike relationship issues already this season.

Lynette: Though she's agreed to couple's therapy, Lynette is convinced that their therapist is favoring Tom over her. Tom doesn't help matters when he convinces Lynette to check out Dr. Graham's stint in community theater. As it turns out, Dr. Graham can't act her way out of cardboard box, and Lynette makes up her mind that she and Tom need to find a new doctor, even though Tom disagrees. The truth comes pouring out at their next therapy session, with Lynette unleashing all her feelings on Dr. Graham. Eventually, the conversation turns into a discussion about why Lynette always has to be the "bad cop" while Tom is the "good cop." Tom admits that he enjoys being well-liked, but they have a breakthrough about their issue and Lynette decides that she thinks Dr. Graham is a "wonderful therapist" after all.

What'd you think of this week's episode? I was happy to see some plot movements without a ton of over-the-top ridiculousness, and I love that Gaby and Angie are being pinned against each other. Do you think Bree and Orson still have a chance? Will Ana and Danny's relationship bring the Bolens out of secrecy?

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "How About a Friendly Shrink?"

After the Golden Globes glow faded away last night, it was time to head back to my favorite ladies on Wisteria Lane. This week has more sweet moments than serious drama, and actually has a few relatable housewife issues (which is rare for Desperate Housewives these days). Gaby and Susan get competitive about their kids' intelligence, while Angie squares off against Danny's new girlfriend Ana. Meanwhile, it seems like Katherine is finally ready to leave her crazy side behind and Bree and Orson make a tiny bit of progress in their post-plane crash living situation.

Ready to break it all down? Just

Lynette: After an awkward dinner party with Lee and Bob, Tom gets the idea that he and Lynette should be in therapy. Though Lynette thinks therapy is for "self-indulgent wimps," Tom starts cataloging his marital problems anyway and seeing a shrink. Of course, Lynette can't let it go and decides to see Tom's therapist for herself to ensure that Tom's not calling her a bitch. It only takes a few minutes for the therapist to get Lynette talking (and crying) about her own problems, and admitting that she's mad at the world for losing one of the twins. I was actually expecting a few more hijinks from the Scavos this week (Tom's journal of grievances seemed so rife for drama) but the issue is actually extinguished before anything gets out of hand, and Lynette agrees to go to couple's therapy with Tom. Honestly, after all they've been through over the years, I'm surprised this is the first time it's come up!

Bree: Orson continues to make Bree's life a living hell by acting childish: demanding waffles, refusing to bathe, and the like. It's easy to sympathize with Bree at first since it seems like Orson is just being difficult to spite her, but when things come to a fever pitch, the truth comes out. Finally, fed up with Orson's stench, she drags him outside and hoses him down like a dog until he agrees to start being a little bit more polite about his constant requests. Orson finally levels with Bree, telling her how angry it is that he's going to have to be asking for things for the rest of his life. Bree quickly jumps off her high horse and begs for his forgiveness. Their relationship may be a huge mess at this point, but I'm glad that they still have a bit of connection there, since they are definitely going to need something to build on.

Katherine: Katherine is finally coming around and stars seeing a shrink of her own. She's clearly still in a lot of pain, but she admits that her meds have helped her determine what's real and what's a delusion. The only problem is that she's afraid to face her life now that she can see what's become of it. Mrs. McCluskey pays her a visit in an attempt to convince her to return to Wisteria Lane, but is isn't until all of the housewives - including Susan - show up that Katherine finds some hope. I'm skeptical about whether or not this is the end of Katherine's nutty side, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the writers can find something new (and less irritating) for her to do.

Gaby and Susan: With Juanita at MJ's school, it isn't long before Gaby and Susan start discussing - and comparing - their kids' curriculum. When Susan insinuates that Juanita has been placed into the "slow group" at school (aka the leopards), Gaby naturally goes on a rampage to get to the bottom of it. She eventually resorts to taking photos of Juanita's classmates homework (did this whole shenanigan seem like a cell phone ad to anyone else?) and decides that it's actually MJ who's in the slow group. When Susan and Mike are watching MJ get his hand stuck in the jar - it's pretty priceless (especially since it's a nice reminder that not everything is about the two of them all the time). Gaby and Susan reconcile in the end, and we never actually learn who was in which group./

Angie: Angie is less than thrilled when Danny brings Ana home for a big Italian feast - and surprise! - she doesn't eat carbs. The situation is worsened when Ana starts discussing her plans to skip college and go into modeling instead, and Angie immediately starts talking about Ana's eventual career in the porn industry. I was impressed that Ana's sass is enough to go head-to-head with Angie's own attitude, and in the end Ana sheds a bit of light on why she and Danny work as a couple, even though Angie still doesn't seem particularly excited about the whole idea.

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "You Gotta Get a Gimmick"

After a cataclysmic plane crash and a series of odd flash forwards, we're finally getting back to normal on Desperate Housewives. If "normal" includes a Susan Delfino striptease, that is. I thought this week had a nice balance of the goofier antics that we love the show for, along with more serious subject matter as Lynette tries to cope with the loss of her unborn child and Gaby reflects on her own self-loathing.

Are you ready to break it all down by character? Just

Susan: Following last week's death of her ex-husband Karl, Susan attends the reading of his will and ends up with his lucrative secret business - a strip joint named Double D. She scouts it out, and upon talking to a dancer named Destiny, Susan discovers that Mike patronizes the place (to do their plumbing, so he says). She gets on Mike's case, and he lashes back, telling her she can't tell him what to do. To prove a point, Susan gets on the pole herself and strips in front of Double D's customers. Mike promises to never go back.

Gaby: Gaby and Carlos are trying to get Juanita into an exclusive private school, but the head of the program only seems to be interested in their daughter for her Mexican heritage. Problem is, Juanita doesn't even realize that she is Mexican. Gaby and Carlos begin to question whether they've deprived their daughter of their cultural background, so when she gets in, Carlos wants her to attend a school in a more Hispanic area instead. Gaby raises a fuss because she's ashamed of her past growing up Mexican and poor, but ultimately they decide to tell Juanita about their history.

Lynette: In typical fashion, Lynette doesn't want to allow herself any time to grieve after the death of one of her twins last week. When Tom offers to step in for her at work until she recuperates, she immediately feels threatened of being replaced at her job. Carlos tells her that Tom suggested that she might want to stay at home with the new baby. Reeling from this news, Lynette faces Tom, and he says that he thought she'd want to spend time with this new child given all that she's gone through. Lynette is falling to pieces, but it's obvious that Tom is also having a hard time. If they don't lean on each other soon, you can tell that things are only going to get darker for him in the episodes to come.

Bree: Bree admits to her church pastor that she had an affair with Karl, and he suggests that she try a penance of sorts by caring for a now handicapped Orson. Just one thing: Orson doesn't want her back anymore. Bree tries to appeal to him, but when he won't listen, she takes him back by force - right out of the McCluskeys' home, where he was planning on staying (by the way, how funny but gross was that line about the McCluskeys' naked floor?!). Orson finally agrees to stick with Bree, but he asks her to wait on him hand and foot.

Danny: No sign of Angie in this episode, but Danny pops up in a side storyline with Julie. Ana confesses to Julie that she has the hots for Danny, so Julie suggests that they all go to a comic open mic night for Eddie. Ana seizes the chance to come on to Danny; he responds by saying she's too conceited, and she bites back by bringing up his suicide attempt. A new teen romance on Wisteria Lane, perhaps?

Did you enjoy this week's episode? I think we know where most of the storylines are headed from here - eg, you can tell that Orson is out to make Bree's life miserable - but what do you think is going to happen with Lynette and Tom? They're one of my favorite TV couples, so I hate to see them face yet another challenge to their relationship (even if it does make for an interesting plot). Oh, and how about the exchange with Mrs. McCluskey and Lee talking about their mutual fantasy over Tom's khaki shorts? Loved it!

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "If . . ."

This week, Desperate Housewives finally brought us the follow-up we've all been waiting for: the aftermath of the disastrous Christmas plane crash. By the end of the episode we learn who survived, who didn't, and who's been badly injured, but along the way we also get a peek into the minds of the ladies of Wisteria Lane as they contemplate what might have been.

Ready to break it all down? Just

Susan: With Karl's life on the line, Susan reflects on her failed marriage and what could have been had they not divorced. In the alternate universe, Susan eats her feelings. Aaand then there's a fat suit. (Anyone else reminded of that Friends episode when Monica imagines that she had never lost weight?) Anyway, alterna-Susan tries unsuccessfully to seduce Mike, then whips herself back into shape and Karl leaves her. Back in real time, Susan learns that Karl is dead, and though she's understandably upset about it, she knows that she did the right thing leaving him all those years ago.

Gaby: The feud between the Scavos and Solises is definitely over, and Carlos tells Lynette that he and Gaby owe her everything for saving Celia. Gabrielle, on the other hand, chooses to believe that God saved Celia because she's special and must have some kind of gift. As she's about to get carried away wondering about her daughter's special talents, Gaby has a dream about a future where she's morphed into an obsessive stage mom. By the end of her vision, Gaby has grown old (which is actually one of my favorite parts of the episode) and her pushiness has lead to her loneliness and Celia's sadness. Before she can get ahead of herself, Gaby wakes up and realizes that Celia is already special all on her own.

Lynette: Lynette's situation is by far the most depressing. We all saw this one coming: after a few minutes in the hospital, she realizes that something is wrong with the twins. The doctor tells her and Tom that one of the twins may be disabled, and Lynette has her own dream about raising a child with a disability. Her vision is painfully depressing at first as we watch Lynette struggle with a disabled infant, then cracking down on her son at an older age. Eventually, Lynette is redeemed by her son's valedictorian speech thanking her for all that she's done for him over the years. When she wakes, Lynette is feeling strong and confident, but Tom reveals that they've lost one of the twins, whom they name Patrick.

Bree: When Bree learns of Karl's death, she becomes hysterical and needs to be sedated. She then dreams of a world where she's married to Karl, and it first it's all fun and sexy escapades. Fast forward 10 years, and Bree catches Karl going back to his old ways. After leaving him, Bree learns that Orson has died and that he's been alone all these years. She goes to collect his things, and there are photos of Bree all over the house (the nurse even goes as far to say that Orson has "died of a broken heart"). Bree awakes and is happy to learn that Orson is still alive - but how it will affect their relationship now that he's paralyzed? Also, I'm already wondering if this is going to be Carlos all over again, and Orson's handicap will be an obstacle for a half a season before the writers get sick of it and give him a miracle cure.

Angie: Unlike their fellow Wisteria Lane residents, the Bolens are praying for death - Mona's death, to be specific. Turns out Mona isn't exactly dead yet, and the Bolens are less than thrilled to hear that she's on her way to making a miraculous recovery. Angie then envisions what could happen if Mona wakes up and tells the cops everything. I'm sure it's something she's thought about before - jail, an orange jumpsuit, the whole shebang. We learn that Angie had been involved with a man named Patrick Logan, who's still on the run. Apparently she hasn't seen her former lover for 18 years, which, to me, means that Nick is probably not Danny/Tyler's real father. Angie then envisions herself confronting and pleading with the family of the man she was involved in killing and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Just as she's being carted off to jail, Mona dies and the Bolens breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed by this week's episode. Some of the visions were interesting (like Angie's), but on the whole I felt like it was filler to drag out the suspense of the crash until the very end - but really, I can't say that I was surprised by any of the happenings. What are your thoughts? Will you miss Karl? Are you still interested in the Bolens' back story?

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "Boom Crunch"

Well folks, the moment we've all been waiting for - the big Desperate Housewives plane crash - has finally arrived. Many conflicts came to a head this week: Bree and Orson (then Orson and Karl!), Susan and Katherine, Gaby and Lynette. Plus, we get another clue about Angie's big crime and the crash turns out to be a romantic gesture gone horribly wrong.

Ready to talk about the least wonderful time of the year for Wisteria Lane? Just

Katherine and Susan: As Susan is helping her friends prepare for the annual Yuletide Festival, Katherine is wheeled out of her house on a stretcher. Before she gets into the ambulance, she implicates Mike in her stabbing (shocker). Susan goes to the hospital and begs Katherine to confess, but Katherine claims that Mike stabbed her because Katherine said she was with another man. Susan takes matters into her own hands, bringing Dylan into the situation (and, um, committing fraud right in front of a lawyer). When Dylan arrives we learn that Katherine is even crazier than we thought: she's led Dylan to believe that Katherine and Mike have been married all this time, and when Dylan confronts her mother, Katherine has a breakdown in the hospital. Hey, better to be locked up than to be hanging out at the plane crash pad.

Lynette and Gaby: Lynette and Gaby continue their cat fight, spilling their dirty laundry (and secrets) to their friends and neighbors. Both sides of the feud are suffering: the Scavos are clipping coupons (is it just me or does it seem like they should have some more savings?) while Carlos realizes that getting sued isn't going to help his reputation (no kidding). When Lynette tries to apologize, Gaby rebuffs her - and they even manage to ruin the "Jingle Bells" concert at the festival. Though they haven't made amends by the end of the episode, Lynette pushes Celia out of harm's way. I'm thinking that Lynette is sadly going to lose those twins, but her heroism will patch things up with Gaby and Carlos.

Bree: Bree finally slaps Orson with divorce papers and is surprised to hear that Orson never intended to actually send Bree to jail. Later on, Orson is pained to overhear Bree happily making plans with "her darling" and asks Bree to keep her boyfriend a secret so that he can enjoy the festival. Too bad Karl has other intentions - he's hired a plane to fly by with a marriage proposal banner. Upon Bree's request, he breaks the news to Orson, and they fistfight in one of the Christmas cabins. After the crash, all we see is a bloody hand in the cabin and Mary Alice's ominous voice over. My money's on Orson, but it seems like he was on the way out anyway - what say you?

Angie: After Danny wakes up in the hospital and declares himself "Danny" again, his nurse confronts the Bolens about their son's mixed up situation. When she suggests that the Bolens are in the witness protection program, Angie and Nick go along with her theory (um, though they also jokingly threaten to have Mona "whacked"). When Mona gives Danny a ride home, Danny misunderstands her and accidentally tells her "everything" - but all the audience learns is that there's terrorism involved. Mona tries to blackmail Angie for $67 grand, but the Bolens catch a break when Mona becomes the first victim of the tragic crash.

So who else do you think will fall victim to the crash? Will Lynette lose her twins? And what will happen to Katherine now that she's committed?

Desperate Housewives Rundown, "Would I Think of Suicide?"

Orson may have been the one talking about suicide a few weeks ago, but on the latest episode of Desperate Housewives, Danny (or should I say Tyler?) and Katherine both come close to taking their own lives. Elsewhere on Wisteria Lane, the Scavos' feud with the Solises gets even uglier and Susan finally discovers Bree's affair with Karl.

It's all leading up to the big plane crash we've been hearing about for months, but for now let's recap all the latest scandal and drama. For more of my thoughts, just

Susan: After learning of Emily's death, Susan urges Julie to tell the police about her affair with Nick Bolen. Julie refuses, but agrees to switch cars with Karl so that she feels safer. Of course, Susan spots Julie's car at a motel and immediately assumes that Julie has taken up with Nick again. Upon further investigation, Susan discovers Bree and Karl's affair. Who else saw this one coming a mile away? I was only surprised that she doesn't burst into the room in typical Susan fashion.

Bree: Susan obviously can't wait to confront Bree about Karl, and she seizes the opportunity at a self defense class - while she has Bree in a choke hold. Bree tries to defend herself but insists that she's willing to sacrifice her friendship with Susan for her relationship with Karl. Susan has a sit-down with her friend and ex-husband and recounts all the times Karl wronged her during their marriage. When Bree admits that she loves Karl in spite of his flaws, Susan gives them her blessing and the three have a happy Hollywood ending - for now, at least.

Lynette and Gaby: Lynette is convinced that Carlos won't fire her, but when she shows up to work he's already given away her job and office, and moves her to an icky storage closet. She asks Gaby to intervene on her behalf, but Gaby refuses. Later, Gaby has a change of heart and she and Carlos agree to forgive their longtime friends. Of course, the reconciliation is too late and Carlos gets served as Gaby and Lynette are hugging across the street. Then the gloves really come off: Carlos gives Lynette an absurd amount of work to do, and when she goes to Penny's pageant instead, he fires her. Um, hello! Can't this be considered abuse, especially since Lynette is preggers? I'm still on Team Scavo for this one - she's just trying to protect her job and family while Carlos is acting downright malicious. What say you?

Katherine: Creepy Katherine hits new heights this week. Now that she's already failed to seduce Mike and threaten Susan, she's hedging her next best bet - little MJ. First she feeds him a sob story about how his mommy stole Mike away, and then she basically kidnaps him despite a very severe warning from Mike. Mike is obviously livid when he finds MJ at Katherine's house, and gives her a harsh speech about how he never cared about her at all. Honestly, Katherine is just beyond pathetic at this point, it's almost hard to feel bad for her. At the end of the episode, she calls 911 and says that she's "losing a lot of blood" - right before stabbing herself with a kitchen knife. It seems like the writers can't figure out what to do with her character, already. Might I suggest another death of a housewife? I think it's time.

Angie: Nick suggests that the Bolens move when he realizes that he could be implicated in Emily's death, but Angie likes her new life on Wisteria Lane and doesn't want to run again. There are a lot of allusions to the Bolens' checkered past - Angie definitely killed someone, and apparently Nick chose to run away with her way back when. Sooo, maybe he's not a total jerk after all? Meanwhile, Danny tries to ask Julie out yet again, but when Julie rejects him, he downs a bunch of pills. When he wakes up in the hospital, he tells the nurse his name isn't Danny, but Tyler. So uh, is he just tired of faking it or does he have amnesia? And why aren't his parents waiting for him in the hospital?

How'd you like this week's episode? Do you think Katherine will pull through? Do you even want her to? Who do you think will be a goner in the big plane crash?
