Behold, another project from a Friends alum: David Schwimmer will direct the upcoming film Trust, a drama about two parents dealing with the aftermath when their daughter becomes the target of an online sexual predator. Clive Owen and Catherine Keener will play the parents; newcomer Liana Liberato will star as their daughter.
This will be Schwimmer's second time in the director's chair, though the subject matter is a far cry from Run Fatboy Run.

Run, Fat Boy, Run comes from a background of comedy gold, three times over: the off-kilter quirkiness of writer Michael Ian Black, the sweet goofiness of director David Schwimmer, and the British everyman humor of cowriter and star Simon Pegg. Ideally, the film would have joined the three comedy styles seamlessly, creating a lovable, hysterical movie that could do no wrong.
Unfortunately, Run, Fat Boy, Run feels like three different movies as disparate as its influences: one set of gross-out jokes that would make the Farrelly Brothers proud, one sweet but schlocky romantic comedy, and one laugh-out-loud underdog story.

Of all of the shows participating in NBC's Green is Universal week, I've been most excited to see what 30 Rock would do with the assignment. The show is so brilliant at poking fun of NBC's corporate culture that I figured Tina Fey would have something special up her sleeve for this politically correct mission.
Sure enough, tonight's episode will introduce Greenzo, a ridiculous, Jack Donaghy-mandated green superhero, played by David Schwimmer.

I love me some Simon Pegg, as I think pretty much everything he does is hilarious. And I know many of you — like me — adore Hank Azaria. So the U.K.
