Wow, that was a lot of juicy Desperate Housewives! Two hours is a ton of any show, but when it's DH, there's just so much that goes on between the revealed secrets and sentimental conversations and plot twists — phew! What a way to end the season though, eh?

In true "Desperate Housewives" fashion, the newest family to move to Wisteria Lane is dripping with mystery. Actors Nathan Fillion, Dana Delaney and Lyndsy Fonseca recently chatted with TV Guide about their family, one of two new households on the lane this year. Here's what we learned about their characters:
- Katherine Mayfair, Delaney's character, used to live on Wisteria Lane with her daughter, Dylan (Fonseca), and an aunt, but she moved away 12 years ago under — you guessed it — mysterious circumstances.

Fresh off the news that Dana Delaney is in talks to join the cast of "Desperate Housewives," there's some speculation today about who could be playing her character's "much-younger husband" when the family moves to Wisteria Lane. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nathan Fillion is talking to the network about playing the role.
I was a little late to the Fillion bandwagon, but I loved him in Waitress, and he's still got a ton of fans from his "Firefly" days.

- Jonesing for a Luke-from-"Gilmore Girls" fix? You'll have to tune into the CW's "Aliens in America" this fall to get it. Scott Patterson will play the father on the show, which focuses on the relationship between Christian and Muslim teens in Wisconsin when the Christian boy's family brings the Muslim boy in as an exchange student.
