Check Out Michael Cera's New Web Comedy

By now you know I love Michael Cera, aka George Michael Bluth from "Arrested Development." In addition to starring in this summer's Superbad, the 18-year-old has teamed up with his friend Clark Duke for Clark and Michael, an online-only Web comedy for CBS.

The first short episode went online this week, and it's pretty good - very dry humor in the style of "Arrested Development" or some of the wackier Comedy Central shows of recent years. The show is styled as a documentary about two young Hollywood wannabes trying to sell their first script, acting savvy but really having no clue what they're doing. Clark and Michael have roped some older, wiser comedic actors into the project, as well: The first episode has cameos by Tony "Buster Bluth" Hale and Comedy Central regular Eric Wareheim.

New episodes will go up every Wednesday until, as Clark and Michael wrote on their MySpace page, they run out of episodes. Fair enough. If you check it out, let me know what you think. (A note of warning: The site may not be compatible with all Web browsers yet; I had to try a few different ones before I could finally see the video.) You can also watch a promo for the show if you read more
