Everyone was rumbling about director Matthew Vaughn's pet project, Kick-Ass, at Comic-Con this year, and now we finally get a peek at the official trailer. For those of you who aren't fanboys, let me explain: The film is based on the Marvel comic about a loner teenage boy (Aaron Johnson) who decides to become a superhero — despite the fact that he doesn't have any actual powers. That's when he teams up with Damon Macready (Nicolas Cage) and his daughter, Mindy (Chloe Moretz), aka "Hit Girl."

For the second time in recent history, I left an R-rated comedy feeling really happy. First Kevin Smith's crass, dirty film about low-budget porn turns out to be rather sweet, and now Role Models. Though full of crude language and nasty jokes, the movie is really a twisted sort of coming-of-age story — for the adult characters more than the kids — that's ultimately heartwarming.

I recently had the excellent fortune to sit down with one of my favorite young actors: Michael Cera, who you may know from his portrayal of the nervous, dorky George Michael Bluth on "Arrested Development."
Jonah Hill and Chris Mintz-Plasse were there, too, all to promote their upcoming summer comedy Superbad. I've seen the movie — which was co-written by Seth Rogen — and it is as hilarious as it is raunchy.
