It's week two of So You Think You Can Dance, and we're starting to know the remaining 18 finalists a little bit better. We can see which couples are working well together and which aren't really feeling the chemistry. And we can see who are the judges' favorites (Will's gonna be in the top four, get it?) and which dancers have to struggle for recognition (Matt's kind of adorable; why does Nigel think he lacks personality?).

So as I mentioned in the poll earlier today, Sabra Johnson is America's favorite dancer. The 20-year-old dancer got the biggest share of the 16 million votes cast after this week's performance show on "So You Think You Can Dance," netting her $250,000.
I had been rooting for Sabra all season, but Wednesday night's performances swayed me to Danny's side enough that I was just a little disappointed when Cat said Sabra's name.

Well, Nigel Lythgoe's plan to keep spoilers from leaking about the "So You Think You Can Dance" final four worked like a charm, even though the couples in question are well on their way to performing their routines for the finale. The dragged-out wait for results this week only made me more anxious to see which guy and which girl would not be advancing to the finals.
On the girls' side, Lacey was the first to get through to the finals, leaving what I thought was a fairly easy choice between Lauren and Sabra for the final round.

I think this is the first elimination on "So You Think You Can Dance" this season that's really made me sad. Dominic and Sara got booted from the show this week, and while I think voters made the right call on the guys' side, I'm pretty bummed about the results for the girls.
The girls' bottom two wasn't surprising at all: Lauren and Sara, which I'd figured would happen after they got less-than-stellar reviews from the judges on Wednesday.

Whether it's standard practice or a reaction to last week's oddly controversial routine, there were no solos on this week's "So You Think You Can Dance." Instead, each couple danced twice, performing wildly different styles and leaving me thoroughly discombobulated as to which dancers should stay and which should go.
The only two who I'm virtually sure will be safe are Pasha and Sabra, who easily get the "Couple of the Night" award from me.

It's a big week on "So You Think You Can Dance," with tonight's elimination determining which 10 dancers will get to go on tour. Unfortunately, I didn't think some of the dancers who have been the strongest thus far performed their best last night, and I'm wondering what that will mean for tonight's elimination. Will someone totally surprising be headed home?

I didn't really want to be right about my picks for the bottom three couples on this week's "So You Think You Can Dance" — but, alas. Voters put Danny and Anya, Hok and Jaimie, and Cedric and Shauna at the bottom, and after the solos, the judges sent Cedric and Shauna home.
I think the judges got it right on the guys' side — even though Cedric's solo was my favorite of his gumby-dance performances from the season.

I've said it every week: This year's crop of "So You Think You Can Dance" dancers is good. Really good. But this week, for the first time, I wondered if their overall goodness is making them a little dull.

Apparently, when it comes to me and "So You Think You Can Dance," absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. I only had to go one week without this silly reality show, and yet every morning this week I've woken up with one thought in my head: "Is it Wednesday yet?" Reading the spoilers about who's dancing which routine this week (I know, I'm bad) only made it worse.

What's with losing all these great male dancers too early on "So You Think You Can Dance" this year? After ending up in the bottom three, Jesus — who I thought had been fantastic all season, including in his solo — got sent home last night. Joining him was Jessi, whose solo couldn't make up for missing the performance show due to a still-mysterious illness.
