Crave Worthy: Casablanca Six Drawer Chest

If I had the dough, I'd buy the Cottage & Bungalow Casablanca Six Drawer Chest ($3,440) based on its name alone; you know I'm a fan of anything with Moroccan roots, and 1940s romances get me every time. But thanks to this chest's good looks, that wouldn't be necessary. Despite its hardware-less minimalism, it's stunning and truly eye-catching. I love its clean lines, plaque-like imprints, and unfussy, cerused oak. If the pennies added up in my bank account, I'd buy this beauty in heartbeat . . . and then write my own romance about it.

Bad Idea of the Week: Madonna Remaking Casablanca (?!)

It's only Monday morning and already we have a Bad Idea of the Week! And yes, this is entirely rumorific right now, but the mere thought of it is so appalling to me, I had to vent.

Madonna. Remaking. Casablanca.

Of course, the remake - possibly set in a modern war zone like Iraq - would be a starring vehicle for the Queen of Pop herself. Apparently, a "source" told the Daily Mail, "Madonna is talking about taking the Ingrid Bergman role for herself, even though Bergman was in her 20s when she played Ilsa and Madonna is nearly 50." read more. Age is the least of the issues I'd have with Madonna taking the role of Ilsa in a remake of Casablanca. First and foremost I have a problem with the words "a remake of Casablanca." And in general, Madonna is simply all wrong for the part. Ilsa (Bergman) had that sweet, vulnerable face,] and a gentleness to her that I don't quite see Madonna achieving. Again, this is totally just a rumor right now. But if it is true, it annoys me to think that just because Madonna wishes to reclaim some credibility in the movie world, she has to go after one of the most - if not the most - well-loved classic films of all time. Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, we'll be posting a Recast challenge, where we'll ask you to recast a classic TV show or movie for these modern times. Last week, I asked you guys to recast Casablanca, and there were so many great entries it was hard to chose a winner.

However, the award for best Recast goes to Demily, who not only found a great trio to play Rick, Isla, and Capt. Renault but also gave us another version that modern-day Hollywood would be more likely to cast: Heath Ledger as Rick, Kate Bosworth as Isla, and - wait for it - Queen Latifah as Capt. Renault. Jennifer Lopez's New Guy Meets Her Kids, Max and Emme!

Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a getaway to the Hawaiian island of Kauai last week with her boyfriend, Casper Smart, and her children, Max and Emme Anthony. During their six-night stay, the new couple explored the island by helicopter and hung out at their resort. J Lo wore a bikini for one sweet afternoon of sharing PDA with Casper by their pool.

It seems Casper also got along well with J Lo's 3-year-old daughter, Emme. Casper played with Emme on the beach while Jen dipped her toes into the Pacific water. J Lo and Casper have since returned from their romantic holiday and are off again on another trip. Jennifer and backup dancer Casper are set to entertain Morocco's royal family this week during a new mall opening in Casablanca.
