Who's the Hottest Robin Hood?

This Friday, Russell Crowe will show off his handiwork with a bow and arrow in the new, action-packed Robin Hood. He's hardly the first to steal from the rich and give to the poor, though: over the years we've seen the costume transform as different actors have stepped into the role. My personal favorite Robin Hood movie has got to be Men in Tights, but there's no denying that Kevin Costner looked pretty good under all that armor. We'll have to wait until Friday to see how Crowe does with the accent and sword fighting, but based on aesthetics alone - who's the hottest Robin?

The Amazing Race is getting a 13th season, Variety says.
Cary Elwes (a.k.a. Westley in The Princess Bride) has joined the cast of Robert Zemeckis' digital 3-D version of A Christmas Carol, writes ComingSoon.
Stanley Tucci will join Amy Adams and Meryl Streep in the Julia Child movie Julie and Julia, Variety reports.
VH1 has a whole bunch of new reality shows in the pipeline, writes The Hollywood Reporter, including one in which contestants act out the sins of telenovelas and a female version of The White Rapper Show called Miss Rap Supreme.

Eric Bana to Step Into Elvis's Blue Suede Shoes

Eric Bana may hail from Australia, but he's about to play an American icon. Bana will play Elvis Presley in Elvis & Nixon, alongside Danny Huston as President Nixon. The film marks the directorial debut of Cary Elwes (perhaps best known as Westley from The Princess Bride) and will focus on a meeting between Presley and Nixon that took place at the White House in December of 1970. The meeting was apparently Presley's idea and was proposed via a six-page letter that made note of the fact that Presley wanted to be Nixon's "federal agent-at-large" in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. (Which is pretty depressing in light of what happened to Presley just seven years later.) The film sounds a bit like My Week With Marilyn in the sense that it's not a straight biopic but more of a cross-sectioned look at the life of a legend. Can you see Bana as the king of rock 'n' roll?

Good Morning America has been bringing us a new blast from the past each day this week, but today's reunion of The Princess Bride is particularly exciting to me, because the movie is so near and dear to my heart. It's been 24 years since the cult classic was first released, and though Westley (Cary Elwes) and Buttercup (Robin Wright) aren't kids anymore, they're still pretty adorable together. Watch as they talk about their iconic kiss and the film's memorable lines - including one that Billy Crystal ad-libbed himself.
