Check Out CBS's New Fall Shows

The hits just keep on coming, and today we've got your first look at all the new Fall shows that will be coming to CBS in a few months. Like the other networks, there's a little bit of comedy and a little bit of drama in store for the shows that will follow lawyers, ranchers, and a brand-new version of Sherlock Holmes.

Two and a Half Men Moves to Thursdays, and More From CBS's New Fall Schedule

It's CBS's turn to take center stage at the upfronts, and this morning the network unveiled its new Fall schedule. CBS has kept most of its ratings-strong schedule intact, but there are a few changes to make room for the new shows. Most notably, Two and a Half Men will move to Thursdays, forming a bit of a comedy block with The Big Bang Theory, which will surely not please the folks at NBC. The Mentalist also has a new night, while 2 Broke Girls has a new time slot.

CBS Pilots: Find Out About the New Shows

Though CBS cut some shows from its schedule, the network is lining up its new series to fill up its schedule. Check out the details below to get up to speed on the brand-new shows you'll be seeing on CBS this Fall.

COMEDIES

Friend Me: This comedy stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicholas Braun as best friends who move to LA to work at Groupon and struggle to be social when one would rather stay at home.
Partners: Michael Urie and David Krumholtz play a pair of architects whose friendship has outlasted all their romantic relationships. Sophia Bush and Brandon Routh also appear.

DRAMAS

Elementary: This take on Sherlock Holmes is set in present-day Brooklyn and stars Jonny Lee Miller in the Sherlock role, with the added twist of Lucy Liu as his colleague Watson.
Vegas: Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis star in this 1960s-era drama about a rodeo cowboy (Quaid) who becomes the sheriff of the city.
Made in Jersey: A street-smart woman (Janet Montgomery) tries to prove herself to her colleagues at a New York law firm in this drama, which also costars Kyle MacLachlan.
Golden Boy: This cop drama follows the rise of a man (Theo James) as he climbs the ranks from office to detective to police commissioner.

CBS Renews Two and a Half Men and Cancels CSI: Miami, A Gifted Man, and More

The renewal and cancellation news has been coming in swiftly ahead of the coming week's upfronts, and now CBS has announced its decisions too. The network has renewed Two and a Half Men and CSI: NY, but it pulled the plug on CSI: Miami, Rob, A Gifted Man, Unforgettable, and NYC 22. All of the canceled shows were freshman series, aside from CSI: Miami, which had aired for 10 seasons. As for the returning shows, this will be the 10th season for Two and a Half Men (and the second with Ashton Kutcher) and the ninth for CSI: NY.

CBS Unveils Its Fall Premiere Schedule

We've still got two glorious months of Summer left, but Autumn will be here before you know it, and the networks have been prepping accordingly. Today, CBS has released its plans for Fall TV, so get ready to mark your calendars for premieres of returning favorite shows like Hawaii Five-0, and promising newcomers like 2 Broke Girls. CBS is getting in on the upfronts action with its own announcements of new Fall shows. They've picked up a couple of pilots so far with some very exciting casting to boot, like Thor's Kat Dennings and one of my favorite Lost alums. Check out the details on their upcoming respective series.

COMEDY

Two Broke Girls: Two girls in their early twenties (Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs) struggle to get by in New York City and fulfill their dreams.
How to Be a Gentleman: Focuses on an odd-couple pair of male best friends; one is uptight while the other is a little more brusque. David Hornsby and Kevin Dillon star.,

DRAMA

Person of Interest: In this J.J. Abrams-produced drama, Jim Caviezel plays a former CIA agent who's presumed dead and starts working with a billionaire (Michael Emerson) to prevent crime in NYC.
The 2-2: Robert De Niro is producing this drama about six rookie cops in NYC. The ensemble cast includes Leelee Sobieski and Adam Goldberg.
Unforgettable: Poppy Montgomery stars in this series about an NYPD detective with the ability to remember everything.
A Gifted Man: Patrick Wilson stars as a hotshot surgeon who changes his outlook on life after his ex-wife dies and begins giving him advice. Julie Benz also stars.
