Which Snow White Movie Are You More Excited to See?

Two Snow White adaptations are set to hit the big screen next year, but judging from the trailers for each, the films couldn't be any more different. Kristen Stewart's Snow White and the Huntsman takes a darker approach to the classic fairy tale, focusing on Snow White's fierce battle to escape the evil queen (Charlize Theron), who wants to hunt her down and kill her. Mirror, Mirror uses a more lighthearted approach, complete with bumbling dwarves, an evil queen (Julia Roberts) on a man hunt, and a Snow White (Lily Collins) who looks like she would fit right in the Disney version of the tale with her frilly dresses. Which one is more likely to get you to the theater? Are you more excited about Snow White and the Huntsman or Mirror, Mirror?

Which NBC Comedy Has the Best Halloween Episode This Year?

The Halloween spirit was in full force this week with the NBC Thursday night lineup. In past seasons, Halloween isn't always celebrated on each of these shows, but last night we lucked out with Halloween-inspired episodes of Community, Parks and Recreation, and The Office.

On Community, Britta realizes that someone in the group has psychopathic tendencies, and she's determined to find out who the creeper is. The majority of the episode is made up of goofy vignettes that poke fun at the horror fiction genre. Things were different on Parks and Recreation. Although Halloween provides the backdrop for April and Andy's epic costume party, the focus of the episode is more on fun and friendship rather than Halloween mischief or mayhem. And finally on The Office, after Andy prescreens everyone's costumes, we learn that Erin is responsible for the success of an "adult" Halloween party. Despite the fact that classic office hijinks develop, there are still a few pretty unsettling scenes.

Each of these shows took a pretty different approach, but, for me, it felt like Community embraced the spooky spirit of the season the most wholeheartedly. If you tuned in, speak up: which of NBC's Thursday night comedies did you think was the best?

Will You Watch the VMAs to See The Hunger Games Footage?

MTV airs the VMAs on Sunday, and as usual, there's another reason to tune in besides the awards themselves. MTV is debuting a sneak peek of The Hunger Games, which will be the first footage of the film shown. Katniss Everdeen herself, Jennifer Lawrence, will be presenting the clip, and you can even see the quickest snap of her in motion in the promo below. Just that little clip has me giddy, but I was already planning on watching the entire show anyway, so this stuff is just a bonus. Still, I'm curious; will any of you be tuning into the VMAs just to see The Hunger Games footage?

Ben F. to Be the Next Bachelor: Love It or Leave It?

Ben F. lost Ashley's heart in the latest season of The Bachelorette, but he's winning at the reality show game: Ben Flajnik is rumored to be the next Bachelor. The 28-year-old Californian certainly proved he was dreamy when he tried to woo Ashley, but I'm curious about how the shy but sweet winemaker will do when faced with a roomful of eligible ladies.

The trend for The Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise has been to use a castoff from a previous season, so it's not a big surprise that Ben was chosen. But I do have to admit that I was holding out for someone else from Ashley's season, like Mickey or Ben C., who we didn't get to see much of. So I want to hear from you - do you think Ben F. was the right choice to be the next Bachelor, or would you have picked another guy to hand out roses?

Are the Right Dancers Going to the Finale of So You Think You Can Dance?

Melanie, Sasha, Marko, and Tadd will be on next week's finale of So You Think You Can Dance, while Ricky and Caitlynn were eliminated. I felt like this was expected, because Marko and Tadd have been strong dancers throughout the competition, but struggled to connect emotionally with the audience. It was sad to see Caitlynn go, because she has grown tremendously. Nigel commented, "Caitlynn dances from her head and overthinks things too much. Melanie dances from her heart. Sasha dances from her soul. I think all three are incredible dancers." Are you excited that Melanie, Sasha, Marko, and Tadd are the remaining four dancers?

Summer is starting to wind down, which means we've already seen most of the season's biggest movies - but that doesn't mean August will be dry of new offerings. Were the Right People Voted Off of So You Think You Can Dance?

It's getting closer and closer to the finale of So You Think You Can Dance, and the top eight dancers were incredibly strong during last night's performance. However, America voted, and the bottom four dancers were Caitlynn, Jordan, Tadd, and Jess. I felt like Jess had the strongest solo with his incredible leaps and turns, so I was completely shocked when the judges decided that it was time for Jess and Jordan to go home. However, I think the judges want to see more growth from Caitlynn and B-boy Tadd. How do you feel about these eliminations? Was it time for Jess and Jordan to hit the road, or do you wish that they had a place in the top six?

Which Snow White Movie Are You More Interested In?

We were treated to sneak peek photos at the two upcoming Snow White films and its stars last week, thanks in part to Comic-Con. Relativity's Untitled Snow White Project takes a more traditional approach to the classic fairytale, presenting Lily Collins in a familiar-looking feminine princess dress, while Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman has Kristen Stewart dressed in armor and ready for battle.

It's going to be awhile before we learn more about these dueling projects, as they don't hit theaters until 2012. Still, these first pictures have our tongues wagging for more, and we're already placing bets on which Snow White will be the fairest one of all. The top 10 dancers worked it last night on So You Think You Can Dance, and the judges comments had been very positive for the most part. However, America voted, and Mitchell, Clarice, Ricky, and Jordan were the bottom four. After the solos, I felt like the results were pretty obvious, and ultimately, Clarice and Mitchell were voted off. Did you foresee these two being cast off?

Are you ready for Italian-style smushing? The colorful cast of Jersey Shore heads to the Florence for their fourth season, and they're bringing all of their drama along with them. If this trailer is any indication, we can expect Snooki, The Situation, and the gang to wreak some serious havoc on their homeland - from car accidents to catfights.

Though the novelty of the show has started to wear off for me, I have to admit that the overseas location will probably suck me back in. Plus, there's a hint at a Snooki/Situation hookup, and you know you're curious about what it would be like to see those two dating.
