I could have done without the montage because that *really* made me think it was over and I have hope that it's not. I actually liked the second to last episode better than this one. This one felt a bit rushed to tie up all lose ends. Aaaand I think montages are cheesy.
But man, I'm going to miss this show if they don't bring it back. I love these women! And their hot men of course ; )

Yeah, it made me think it was over too. I did appreciate the loose ends tied up though.

I thought Victory's mom was a horrible actress, she was way overdoing it.

I feel the show was very rushed due to the cancelation of the show. Victory & Joe story line reminded me of SATC's Carrie and Big, didn't care for how Wendy & Shane ended and Nico/Griffin/Kirby was an obvious triangle. Loved Nico on Today Show and that they included Dahlia. Sad to see the show go.

Nico chose Kirby. They are happy until wait! Nico still wants to have a baby and Kirby is still alot younger than her. They break up again and Nico ends up adopting a kid from a third world country.

so another one bites the dust...man this just sucks scissors...but hey at least we got some closure. i like kirby have always dug the older woman/younger man concept....but man o' man i like griffin. oh well...it's all just memories fading through time...:sniffle:

see - without the montage, i think that we could have said that there's a chance that there will be more, but with most shows, they only do those when it's the LAST episode. anyway, back to the show...

nico - i don't know if any of us were surprised with how her relationship with Griffin was going to evolve - and well...it's hard when you're someone's employee and the fact that there was such a short time from when she broke up with kirby. if the show goes on, i'd love to see more of what would happen.

victory - well..i like that she really does love joe for who he is rather than what he is- that's one of the most important things in a relationship - and she's strong for him. i DID like that he wants to do it the right way though and made the comment about having the wedding in Ohio.

Wendy - well - she has her hands full doesn't she? i like that she and her daughter are getting things back on track - and it's actually kind of REAL seeing that her teen was getting drunk and being difficult.

I love this show! It's amazingly sexy and stylish for an NBC show (love those opening credits) and I'd love to see how far that could go if Showtime or HBO would pick it up. Lipstick was the perfect "next step" Sex and the City, a little more serious, a little more grown up, but still glamorous and heart-pounding. My favorite part of this episode was the final shot of Victory and Joe in the fairy lights. To die for.

Please tell me this was not the end. I'll be watching and hoping for more.I can't get enough of the three ladies story lines. While they are all different I find something I relate to with each character in the show.

I am sad to see to show go. I admit it was not the best show I have ever seen, but it had something that made me like it and care for the characters, Wendy in particular. I was not too crazy about Victory though. I like show that centers around a group of women, their life, their ups and downs.

I was so upset to see the montage (not only cheese) but made me think this has to be the end. But we'll see.

I would be really anxious to see what happens with Nico. I was so sad when her and Kirby ended, but then when Griffen took care of her so well I instantly feel for them being together.

Does anyone know it it's coming back or not?

while i do not think the show has reached its full potential (cheap set dressing, sometimes cheesy scripts, and who creates the "fashion" for victory's line? ugh), there is nothing filling this void in tv right now. everything else is reality, medical, teen or murder shows. desperate housewives never got me interested in their characters like lipstick jungle does.

I so don't want this show to be over. I want to see what happens! And I totally hope that Nico chooses Griffin. He's totally sexier, and Kirby is just a child. They'll end up having the same problems over and over again.

Honestly, I thought the montage was cheesy. It was forced and weird and sudden to me, and I wish they'd just left the ending alone.

the montage made me cry. i must know what happens with shane & wendy! it almost looked as if shane was regretting going on tour.... and i almost expected that wh*re of a manager to walk in the hotel room (SO glad she didn't, i would have been *livid*)

as much as i love kirby, would love to see the griffin/nico story pan out - talk about a power couple!!!!
