John Krasinski picked a pretty juicy project for his directorial debut: David Foster Wallace's Brief Interviews With Hideous Men. The film has made the festival circuit and garnered mostly so-so reviews. In fact, I read some pretty negative reviews a while ago and got it into my mind that this wouldn't be an appealing movie.
