Oprah is hosting a special Haiti relief episode on her show today, and she's enlisted Rihanna's help. The singer will be performing a cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song," which seems like the perfect choice given the tragic Haiti aftermath.
The track is already available for a listen, and Rihanna's voice lends itself well to the cover — it's smooth and pretty but also has a strength behind it.

The Teen Choice Awards won't air until tomorrow, but Pop and I were lucky enough to hit the red carpet and press room when the show was taped tonight. From the always exciting Twilight stars to the hot outfits and gorgeous makeup looks, there was plenty of excitement. We've also got a list of all the winners, so if you don't mind some spoilers, check 'em all out after the jump.

I think the top nine on American Idol are having a collective identity crisis this year. Each week seems to be the same: The singers pick songs that will show a particular side of them to the judges, then the judges tell them they picked the wrong songs and they should be doing something more like _____. The next week, the singers do that, and the judges tell them it's wrong, too.

So I take a spin through each week's music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. In addition to my pics below, you can download Jonas Brothers tunes from their upcoming 3D movie experience thingy, too.

Music festivals are all the rage these days, but it's easy to get overwhelmed. South By Southwest has simply gotten ginormous, while Coachella has gone all Hollywood on us. Then, along comes the lower-profile Austin City Limits Festival with one of the best festival lineups I've seen in ages.

Ever since the flute-wielding Jethro Tull won an award for Best Hard Rock Act in 1988, The Grammys have seemed to decrease in relevance with each passing year. But this year, the music awards really pulled out all the stops: a Police reunion, Justin Timberlake performing with a previously unknown singer, and much-deserved awards for Mary J. Blige, Bob Dylan, and Gnarls Barkley.
