Is Leona Lewis America's Next Super Diva?

As my girl in the UK pointed out, Leona Lewis' single "Bleeding Love" from her upcoming album Spirit is No. 1 on the American Billboard Hot 100 right now. Lewis is the winner of the British TV show X Factor and has folks like Simon Cowell and Clive Davis heavily invested in her success.

However, based on this song "Bleeding Love," her voice is strong but I'm not sure I can hear Xtina or Whitney material in there.

I'll keep an open mind, but for all the publicity Lewis is getting, I wonder if she'll be able to live up to the hype when her album drops here in the U.S. on April 18.

American Idol: Who Deserves to Get Cut This Week?

The final five performed on American Idol this week and the contestants were all really digging the swinging '60s theme. Also digging it? The judges and the audience. We're so close to crowning the winner, but alas, there can only be one. Unfortunately, with all the dead weight gone, this means favorites are going to be sent home. On the plus side, the contestants are really pulling out all the stops and giving us a show.

Hollie Cavanagh kicked things off with a solid rendition of "Mountain High, River Low," then later slowed things down with the challenging "Bleeding Love." Phillip Phillips, whom I'm trying hard to remain impartial about but I can't deny my apparent and growing love for, sang "The Letter" and "Time of the Season." Skylar Laine stomped around to "Fortunate Son" and "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me." Jessica Sanchez made "Proud Mary" and "You Are So Beautiful" look effortless. Finally, Joshua Ledet, with a song he was born to sing, "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," and "To Love Somebody" Oh, and he bro-ed out with Phillip on "You've Lost That Loving Feeling." As Steven said, it was adorable. So how can we let one of these folks go? And who should it be?

You want to love running, you do, but every time you head out for a run, you end up hating it even more. Check out some of the most common complaints below, and find out how you can turn your relationship with running around for the better.

"My Knee, My Back, My Feet - Everything Hurts"
Pounding the pavement is not easy on the body, and one reason for aches and pains is poor running form. Here's a body checklist to make sure you're running properly and efficiently. Sneakers that are old or unsupportive can also lead to joint pain, so here are tips to help you find the perfect pair of running shoes. Be sure to replace shoes every few hundred miles or every few months (whichever comes first). Also, don't run every day - including other types of exercise is a must in preventing repetitive stress injuries.

"It's Boring"
Running is the definition of repetition, so if you're on a treadmill, make it more exciting by watching your favorite TV show, listening to a new audiobook or CD, running next to a chatty friend (just make sure to keep your gaze forward), or "racing" an unknowing treadmill runner. If none of that seems appealing, bring your runs outdoors. The beach or the woods are full of natural obstacles to keep you on your toes, and the fresh air and scenery are sure to lift your spirits. Choose a different location every time to keep workouts exciting, and bring your dog along. It's also fun to track your workouts using a heart rate monitor, GPS watch, or an inexpensive running app like one of these.

A runner's feet take quite the beating with all the repetitive pounding, sweating, and muscle exertion. Here are five ways to help ease soreness and prevent foot injuries that could sideline your running routine.

Grab a tennis ball: If you have a loving friend who's offering to rub your feet regularly, that's great, but most of us don't have that luxury. Instead, perform a little self-massage with a tennis ball or racquetball. Sit or stand and place the ball under the arch of your foot, roll it along your arch, and shift to whatever part of your foot needs attention. You'll be surprised at how sore your feet really are.
Trim your toenails: Seems like a simple task that doesn't need mentioning, but since feet are covered most of the time, you may not pay as much attention to your toenails as you do your fingernails. Long toenails can rub against the inside of your shoe or cut the adjacent toes, making it painful to run. When giving yourself a minipedicure, cut or file nails straight since rounded edges can cause ingrown toenails.

I am 38 and dating an amazing man of 35. We've been together for about five months and despite his attempts to "take it slow" he is basically living with me. He still has his other place but is here every night except maybe once a month. We get along great, have a lot of laughs, and really seem to understand each other. Personally I'm madly in love in a way I've never experienced.

We have both been divorced for about 2-3 years and he admits to being incredibly hurt by his last girlfriend, who dumped him and got married to her ex (yep, that would hurt!). When we met, I was just out of a relationship that should have ended months prior and neither of us were really looking for anything serious, but I feel I was more ready than him. He just took me by surprise and swept me off my feet, and while he kept maintaining that we were taking it slow, it didn't go that way - within a couple months he was calling me his girlfriend by accident and like I said, staying with me all the time. 5 Fun Things I Learned on the New Girl Set

The Winter TCA is all about the shows premiering in the midseason schedule, but reporters got to take a break from all the upcoming series to visit the set of a Fall hit: New Girl. I checked out the digs while stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, and Lamorne Morris and creator Liz Meriwether answered questions and spilled some fun details about the Fox show.

The apartment is meant to look like industrial. Meriwether said that there was a distinct idea for the apartment Jess shares with the boys. "We just wanted the feeling of a space that once was a factory and now is a loft," she said, mentioning that it's also set in downtown LA, where there are a lot of these spaces.
There's one element of the apartment Meriwether gets asked about all the time: the urinals. "I get a tweet every week about whether urinals are in the bathroom," she said. There are - I saw them.
Deschanel's style bleeds into Jess's. "I think it always ends up seeping into the characters I play - my own personal style," the actress said. "I have sort of a very distinct sense of fashion for myself and what the characters should wear, so it does always end up sort of just edging its way into the wardrobe for whatever I'm working on."
The costume designer has a TV classic on her resume. Deschanel praised the woman behind New Girl's wardrobe, Deborah Maguire, and revealed that she worked on another show that featured goofy roommates. "She's amazing. She did Friends. She's ridiculously talented and I'm obsessed with her, I love her so much. She's a fashion soulmate, so we just nerd out on fashion."
Jess and Nick are probably not getting together anytime soon. "I'm not sure that's what this show's about in this season," Meriwether said when asked how long the sexual tension between Jess and Nick can last before anything happens with them. "It's about Jess and Nick sort of coming out of these bad relationships and trying to learn how to be people again and try to learn how to date again. I feel like they have a long way to go as characters.

Seann William Scott Slams Bodies in the Goon Trailer

Goon may be a hockey movie, but from the looks of the trailer, it's more about the violence than the goals that take place on the ice. Seann William Scott stars as Doug Glatt, a hockey player whose job isn't to score, but to make as many of the opposing teams' players bleed as possible. Liev Schreiber also stars - with a hilarious-looking handlebar mustache - as Glatt's menacing rival, Ross Rhea.

This is definitely a movie for the guys, complete with beer, violence, and a love interest (Alison Pill), who is only interested in sports and sex. It's a little more testosterone than I think I can handle, but see what you think when you
