The festival season continued this weekend as the V Festival took place at both Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire. Billie's Back as Belle, and Loved as Rose

Billie Piper has been busy this week filming scenes for the second series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl in North London. As the actress is reportedly pregnant she will apparently use a body double for some of the more raunchy scenes and has already signed up for the third series, which will start filming early next year. Pregnancy certainly isn't slowing Billie down - she is also set to return to Doctor Who for three episodes. That will no doubt please a lot of viewers, as her character Rose has been voted most loved TV character in a survey released yesterday. The survey also found that one in three Britons had romantically fallen in love with a TV character. I think I can put myself in that category, what with my Pacey Witter infatuation...

Doctor Who Is Back For More In Series Four

The first two episodes of Doctor Who series four were screened last night in front of an audience of cast, crew and famous fans including Jo Whiley and Simon Pegg. The new series will start on BBC on Saturday evening, and there's a lot of buzz about it as familiar faces such as fan favourite Billie Piper will be returning. The current Doctor, David Tennant, spoke about what was to come in the series (a sneak peek included a quick flash of a Dalek), and said the season finale is;

"...the biggest, boldest, maddest, saddest, most exciting story we've ever done".

So it seems the fans have a lot to look forward to, including the reappearance of Catherine Tate, whose character won't have romantic feelings for the Doctor. Catherine said,

"Donna knows he's an alien. She knows he's got two hearts and she doesn't want to see what else he's doubled up on. There was so much sexual tension off-screen, it would have been boring to have to watch it as well."

Ha! So will you be watching when it airs on Saturday? As I previously mentioned I haven't seen much of it, but I'm trying to find time to have a catch-up session.

Billie's Back With Doctor Who

Here's a quick peek at Billie Piper filming with David Tennant and Catherine Tate for Doctor Who. She's going back to the series for three episodes, playing the Doctor's assistant Rose. I have to admit I haven't seen too much of this show since David Tennant took over as the Doctor, but I hear it's lots of fun. Are you watching it? Do you recommend I catch up? I'm slightly more intrigued by Torchwood, mainly because of John Barrowman's cheeky personality and the fact that James Marsters guest stars.
