Sunday night TV gets a jump-start tonight with the return of two anticipated shows. First off, it's finally time for Chuck to make his triumphant return! I've been counting the minutes until this day since Chuck uttered, "Guys, I know Kung Fu" last Spring, and NBC is sweetening the deal with not one but two episodes tonight, plus a bonus episode tomorrow in the show's regular time slot.

Mid-season TV is about to rev up, and I couldn't be happier! I've already given you a sneak peek at what you can expect from the new season of Big Love and some insider scoop from Chuck's own Zachary Levi, but they're not the only shows that I'm marking on my calendar. So what do we have to look forward to?

Big news for Big Love: The polygamy drama will be back next year for a fourth season! HBO announced the renewal with a statement saying, "The series keeps getting better and better."
One thing that wasn't getting better, at least earlier this season, was the ratings — the show's season three premiere (which came after a long break caused in large part by the writers' strike) drew just 1.2 million viewers.
