The directorial debut of actor (and boyfriend to Charlize Theron) Stuart Townsend, Battle in Seattle is a fictional account of a protest gone awry in Seattle in 1999. As the World Trade Organization prepared for a summit, activists from all over the world made plans to disrupt the meetings. This film is Townsend's attempt to convey the chaos and fear that overtook the city when ideologies clashed.

Well, I've got to give Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis some credit: They actually got me to care about "American Idol." No, there were no Grammy-winning performances in the finale, but I legitimately enjoyed watching both of them. It's a battle of the performer vs.

I usually don't have a problem suspending my disbelief for the sake of good television, but at times I thought this week's "Grey's Anatomy" took things a wee bit too far. Still, this episode had plenty of lines that made me laugh out loud — and another that made me feel like I'd been kicked in the stomach.
