The facts:
Kate Hudson has been cast in the comedy Bachelor No. 2, a movie that "revolves around a man who is hired by men who have been dumped to take their ex-girlfriends out on nightmare dates, thereby convincing the women to return to their boyfriends. But trouble arises when [the man]'s character is hired to take out the ex-girlfriend of his best pal."

- Roses and ratings. The Bachelor's finale and post-finale specials dominated the early part of this week: On Monday, The Bachelor ended the season with its best ratings in a couple of years, drawing 15.5 million viewers. The After the Final Rose special, where most of the drama went down, was even bigger, with 17.5 million viewers.

Gossip Girl may not have great ratings, but it certainly has the eye of the teen demographic. The show and its stars scored a total 14 nominations for the 2008 Teen Choice Awards today, easily the most of any nominee.
In the music categories, Chris Brown was the clear leader with nine nominations.
