Courteney Hits Scream 4's After Party With Josh, Kristen, Dax, and More Cougar Town Costars

The cast of Scream 4 kept the good times rolling last night, heading from their movie premiere to an afterparty at The Redbury Hotel. Courteney Cox stuck close to her costars in the movie, like Neve Campbell, Anna Paquin, Emma Roberts, and Kristen Bell, but she also had her small-screen buddies on hand showing their support. Her friends from Cougar Town like Busy Philipps, Ian Gomez, and her shirtless and bikini-filled vacation buddy Josh Hopkins were on hand to toast Courteney's foray back to the big screen. Even Isla Fisher turned out for the bash during a breaking hanging with her baby daughter Elula.

The guys and girls of Scream 4 assembled in LA last night to premiere their latest installment in director Wes Craven's series. Courteney Cox and David Arquette put their divorce aside to pose on the carpet with their costar Neve Campbell, who has been busy making the interview rounds to support the project over the last few weeks. Both David and Courteney, who recently visited Disney with their 6-year-old daughter Coco, also have had their fair share of press to do, including a stop at the junket where he spoke about their meeting 15 years ago, and she talked about how scary Scream is. Their red carpet was jam-packed with their many costars, including newcomers like Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, and Anthony Anderson. Adam Brody is a new addition to the ensemble, and he was in uniform to join the fun. Rihanna and Jay-Z Rock Their Wear Around NYC

Rihanna stepped out to do some solo shopping at Barneys yesterday, but on Monday night she was in plaid to check out a party hosted by Jay-Z at his Rocawear space in NYC. It's been a busy few days in the city for Jay-Z, after he recently gave Oprah a tour of his old Brooklyn neighborhood. While Beyonce was busy with her work obligations in Japan, Rihanna looked happy to come out and support his line. Rihanna and Jay-Z are set to team up again soon when they join Kanye to perform "Run This Town" on the first episode of Leno's new show.

I'm very curious about the new Fox show "K-Ville," which focuses on police officers in post-Katrina New Orleans. I didn't completely adore the pilot, but there was enough good about it - especially lead actor Anthony Anderson - that I'm eager to check out other episodes once the show premieres next month.

The first episode will air Sept. 17, but thanks to a cool promotion, you can watch it now, commercial-free. And you even have options: For one, you can head over to the network's new Fox on Demand site. For another, you can watch the full episode right here on Buzz, as long as you do it before Aug. 31.

Pilot Watch: "K-Ville"

The networks have announced their fall schedules, but which of the series will actually be worth watching? Throughout the summer, as I watch the pilots, I'll be posting my first impressions. Note that a lot can change before a show actually makes it to air, so these aren't comprehensive reviews, just quick thoughts on how the shows look now. Today's installment: Fox's "K-Ville."

What's it about? This story about police officers in post-Katrina New Orleans centers on Marlin Boulet, a cop whose partner deserted him during the storm, and his new partner, Trevor Cobb, who has come to New Orleans from the Army to get a fresh start.

Who's in it? Anthony Anderson of "The Shield," Cole Hauser, Maximiliano Hernndez, Blake Shields, Tawny Cypress, John Carroll Lynch

The good: Anthony Anderson makes Marlin an appealing main character, a cop with questionable morals and traumatic memories of the hurricane who always seems just on the edge of a nervous breakdown. The New Orleans details are tastefully done and revealing, and it's impressive to see a show tackle a contemporary problem whose ultimate outcome is still unknown.

The bad: So many mysteries were solved and secrets revealed in the pilot that it felt like a movie, not a show; I couldn't imagine what other stories the series could explore. The officers who weren't Marlin or Trevor seemed like afterthoughts.

Will I watch? I'll give it an episode or two, at least.
