Feb 12 2010 - 10:30am Since werewolves are so hot right now, I wanted Benicio Del Toro's
The Wolfman to be the sophisticated, gothic horror entry into the creature-centric movies. It's promising at first — Del Toro's Lawrence is brooding, dark, and a little sexy, and the atmosphere is rich and spooky.
The film begins with Lawrence returning to Blackmoor, England, to his childhood home and the father who'd sent him away as a boy.

That's really disappointing to hear. I was planning on catching this one tonight.
1I'm still going to see it. Different strokes...
2Wow that bad? That's disappointing to hear but I'm still interested in seeing for myself... though, I'm not a fan of gore. =\
3Bad films can still be entertaining
4I've seen worse.
5Saw it. Hated it. Emily was gorgeous, though.
6Saw it. It was okay. I was entertained, up until the end when I sort of thought, "that's it?". Fine to sit through once, but not a memorable film.
7Too bad! I like Benicio and Emily! Will wait for the dvd!
8I didn't think it was that bad at all! I mean, nothing epic, but I thought it was a pretty good ol' fashioned werewolf movie.
9i didn't expect much, but you'd think w/ such a solid cast that it'd be better!! thanks buzz..i'll wait for the dvd!
10Couldn't agree more, stay home, rent the original or read the book. This Legend of Wolfboy is pretty good if you're into wolves books and all that. An interesting idea at least. Reading a novel free online, beats a $20 movie. http://LegendOfWolfboy.com/
