We've seen a lot of
great preview clips for returning shows that will soon be back on the air to tie up last season's cliffhangers. But where's
How I Met Your Mother? The CBS comedy finished strong last Spring, aided by a couple of guest appearances by Britney Spears, a great plotline involving Sarah Chalke as a candidate for "the mother," and a
cliffhanger that's had me waiting all Summer for an answer.

Ahhh the tramp stamp... makes me giggle every time I see it. I love this show! Gotta set my TiVO for next week!
Also Big Bang Theory, another show that cracks me up.
1So excited for HIMYM! I don't understand why more people don't love this show -- it makes me LOL, literally, every show.
As for Ted & Stella, I don't mind them as a couple, but I am still not that invested in Stella as a character. Just have to give it time - I always thought they might bring back the pastry chef girl to be the mother.
Love that Barney actually has feelings for Robin, that should be really interesting to watch this season.
2Yay! My favorite show is coming back!
3I can't wait for HIMYM!!! Best. Show. Ever.
4Sooo glad you posted this, I've been trying to figure out when it comes back and am glad to know that I need to check my DVR to make sure it's programmed for next week!
5I can't wait for the new season! I wonder why there hasn't been much news about when they'll be coming back.
6I was also wondering why CBS hasn't spent much time on ads for HIMYM...it's my favorite show, but it makes me think maybe they aren't invested much in it and it's the last season?

Check out this link http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2008/09/how-met...
The Chicago Tribune has another clip for not only the show, but it has Stella's answer to the marriage proposal!!!
