Where has all the time gone? We're down to this year's top three on American Idol! As expected, Adam basically kicked rock night's butt on Tuesday, while the rest of the contestants had their highs and lows (I can't get that Gokey scream out of my head).

Tonight's episode of 90210 marks the return of Donna Martin to the famous Zip code.
The preview clips for "Okaeri, Donna!" reminded me that Tori Spelling was no wallflower while portraying the sidekick to Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) in the old-school 90210.

The notion of youth being wasted on the young is a compelling one, without a doubt. It inspired a famous Mark Twain quote, which in turn inspired an F. Scott Fitzgerald short story, which has now lent its name to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a film starring Brad Pitt as the title character, born old and destined to die young.

I was right where all the action was at the Emmys last night, and it was totally exciting to be in the press room, chatting with the winners and watching the ceremony. Yet, as fun as that experience was, I felt like this year they somehow sucked a lot of the fun and energy from the show. At times I almost (almost) found myself wishing for Ryan Seacrest's Tudors costume of yore.

There's no real information about this project — not even a title — besides the following:
It's a "romantic comedy adventure."
Cameron Crowe is directing for Columbia Pictures.
Reese Witherspoon and Ben Stiller are set to play the lead lovebirds.
Well, the Cameron Crowe part could be pretty awesome. He's responsible for bringing us Say Anything, Singles, Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous (I can ignore Vanilla Sky and Elizabethtown).
But is it bad that the first thing I thought of when I saw this news was, Oh, man, I so don't want to see Reese Witherspoon have to kiss Ben Stiller?

The recipe for the perfect holiday movie requires a pinch of star power, a dash of humor, and a heaping handful of good old-fashioned family feuds. There are a slew of films that have mastered this combination, namely National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and, more recently, Elf. Not only have these films perfected the holiday formula, they have since become modern-day classics.

Hey all, Buzz was kind enough to let me go see this movie for her and review it. I always get the good ones, wink.
About 45 minutes into Fool's Gold I found myself trying to think of clever titles for this review — Fool's Gold: That About Says It; Fool's Gold: Very Foolish, No Gold; Fool's Gold: At Least the Scenery Is Beautiful; Fool's Gold: Just Another Excuse for McConaughey to Be Shirtless — clearly not coming up with any winners.

Kate Hudson has been cast to play Margaret Keane, the painter well-known for her depictions of children with gigantic eyes. According to Variety, Keane's works became "one of art's first mass-market success stories in the 1950s."
Aptly titled Big Eyes, the movie will be a drama that follows "Keane's personal awakening at the onset of the feminist movement, leading to a lawsuit she filed against her husband, Walter, who claimed credit for her works."

It may be rather morbid, but there are a slew of rather smart flicks about the dark world of suicide. Heathers, the quintessential mean-girl movie, and The Virgin Suicides, arguably Sofia Coppola's strongest film, are two such examples. And while Wristcutters: A Love Story, is not as deliciously evil as Heathers nor as visually lush as The Virgin Suicides, it does join the rank of intelligent movies about this depressing topic.
