- I'm devastated by the news about Jeffrey Dean Morgan's split from Mary-Louise Parker, though JDM has some good news to console him: he's been cast alongside Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst in All Good Things, according to Hollywood Reporter.
- Variety reports that Robert DeNiro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell will star together in the family comedy Everybody's Fine.
- Before there's even a High School Musical 3, they're working on a fourth one! Though ComingSoon reports that No. 4 will be another TV movie, not released theatrically.
- If you want to be all nerdy-like (I sure did), the Wall Street Journal has posted a downloadable version of the Project Runway lawsuit.
- Yet another time I wish I were in Seattle: the Bumbershoot Festival lineup looks fantastic, with Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, Neko Case and M.

In case you've been living under a rock, Avatar has been dominating at the box office since the day it opened way back in December. That's seven weeks spent at number one, which is hardly a surprise since it's now the biggest grossing movie of all time.
That said, all good things must come to an end.

After a long, looong wait, Lost is finally back! This week's two-hour premiere was intense and gratifying — but there are still plenty of questions left open. Among them is last season's big finale question of whether Juliet's attempt to detonate the hydrogen bomb worked.

This week's House gave us a glimpse into the personal life of Foreman with the arrival of his straight-outta-jail brother Marcus (Orlando Jones). House, always the meddler, decides to bring the two guys together by hiring Marcus as his assistant — and of course, multiple jokes at Foreman's expense ensue. But is House just trying to get back at Foreman and, as he puts it, screw with him?

I've been digging the CW's heartfelt midseason hit Life Unexpected, and as of last week's second episode, you guys are too. Tonight we'll be treated to another installment following adopted teen Lux, played by Britt Robertson. I had a chance to chat with Robertson about her character, her hopes for the show's relationships (love triangle ahead), her costars (she's roommates with Shiri Appleby!), and the show's warm reception.

This year's Grammy winners may have been fairly expected names (Beyonce, Taylor, Beyonce again), but the ladies didn't get all the glory. Kings of Leon made their own waves, taking home Record of the Year for "Use Somebody." When they came back into the press room to reporters, they revealed just how they outdid some of the biggest names in pop music for the win.

American Idol is pretty buzzy right now with the news that Simon Cowell is leaving after this season, so when I spotted Kara DioGuardi at the Grammys Style Lounge today, I decided to get a shortlist of possible contenders straight from a judge's mouth. I've got to warn you, two of her picks are pretty surprising, but I like 'em!
I also asked her about her favorite guest judge so far this season (hint: she doesn't name Katy Perry), and to use her expertise to guess who's taking home a Grammy trophy at the big show.

Isla Fisher better get working on her horror scream. The actress has signed on for Burke and Hare, based on the true story of two of Edinburgh's earliest serial killers/gravediggers who sold victims' bodies to a medical school (for a nice profit, naturally).
Oh, and did I mention it's a comedy?
