Last night, Taylor Swift won the Entertainer of the Year Award at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Swift gave a heartfelt thank-you speech upon receiving the award, and also performed her song "Mean" to an enthusiastic crowd. My tween-age sister is a huge Taylor Swift fan, and she recently sent me the link to the video "Back to December." The video, directed by Yoann Lemoine, was shot in upstate New York, and has a completely covetable look. Kenny Chesney: Entertainer of the Year

For the third year in a row, Kenny Chesney was named Entertainer of the Year at the 42nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards. Other honorees included George Strait and Carrie Underwood, while Brooks and Dunn took home an unprecedented fourteenth award for Top Vocal Duo.

The AP continues:

Veteran singer-songwriter Bill Anderson...seemed touched that older artists weren't forgotten. "I'm old enough to be Carrie Underwood's grandfather," the 69-year-old said of the 24-year-old singer.

"I would not be here if it were not for 'American Idol,'" [Underwood] said as she collected her vocal award. "Thank you, fans. God bless you."

Taylor Swift was one of the night's performers and winners, taking home the Entertainer of the Year award to close out the evening - see who took home all the top honors. Rihanna transformed her "California King Bed" into a duet with the help of Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, and Ryan Seacrest cozied up with girlfriend Julianne Hough backstage. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were seated next to Carrie Underwood to watch the entertaining show, which had everyone from Steven Tyler to Celine Dion wow the crowd.
