Richard Chai Love Fall 2012

Inspired by the idea of "handsome femininity," Richard Chai showed a Fall collection that was simultaneously simple, yet statement-making. “I didn’t want to do anything that was tricky,” Chai told The New York Times. “I didn’t want to create looks that were just for the show. I wanted it to be approachable and believable, but also be really aspirational. At the end of the day, it’s pieces that I want people to wear.” Chai's boy-meets-girl vision was interpreted into gorgeous slim-fit striped trousers, structured oversized blazers and coats, cozy knits, blanket-stripe coats, and moody florals. The latter was cut into diaphanous sheer skirts, corduroy pants, and jackets, adding a feminine streak to his city-slicker style. Furthermore, his outerwear was something to contend with; Chai's selection of oversized structured jackets and coats were perfectly tailored and ideal for topping off just about any Fall look.

Trends: Menswear, painterly florals, blanket stripes, boxy blazers and coats.
Colors: Dark red, pinks, gray, black, navy blue, brown.

Ben Affleck Rocks a Big Beard During a Day Out in Brentwood

Ben Affleck was out and about in his LA-area neighborhood yesterday sporting heavier-than-usual facial hair. Ben was solo, but over the weekend, he focused his attention on his two daughters. On Sunday, Ben, Seraphina, and Violet hit a farmers market near their house to pick up some produce. Ben was also seen leaving with a bunch of flowers in hand, perhaps as a gift for Jennifer Garner, who didn't join them on the outing. Jennifer and Ben are expecting their third child this Spring, and during a recent visit to The Tonight Show, she joked that their girls are getting in on the naming process by suggesting the names of their favorite Disney characters for the little one. Jennifer didn't publicly reveal the gender of the baby during her late-show stop, but she did admit that she and Ben know whether they'll be having a boy or girl.

Glee-ful Highlights From Episode "The Spanish Teacher"

Glee goes Latin this week when guest star Ricky Martin stops by to shake it and teach Mr. Schue a thing about Spanish (which, despite being a Spanish teacher, he does not know). A couple more people find out about Finn and Rachel's engagement, though Mercedes and Sam are still far more unclear about their relationship. Sue also announces a highly frightening desire to be a mother while clawing at the chance to be a tenured teacher.

There are some fun numbers this week, but they couldn't distract from the fact that this episode is all over the place. A couple of the subplots are just plain ridiculous, but it's not totally without its highlights, so let's go over them after the jump.

David Beckham on Having "One More or Two More" Kids, Harper Growing Up, and His Protective Sons

David Beckham taped an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show in London on Saturday. He was in England last week promoting his new underwear line for H&M, which we got a closer look at during the sexy, shirtless commercial that aired during the Super Bowl yesterday. David covered up in a suit on Friday night to party with pal Prince Harry at the exclusive Arts Club. David's recent talk show appearance was focused on his family, though, and he shared sweet quotes about his little girl Harper and the possibility of expanding the Beckham bunch. On expecting another boy: "After having three boys, you just assume that you’re going to have another boy, but when we got told she was a little girl, it was amazing."
On adding to the family: "We might have one more or two more, you never know. We’re not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great. We’re enjoying the kids as it is. It’s always a thought."
On Harper having big brothers: "I just want them to protect her when she’s at that age. At that age when she needs protecting. Cruz does taekwondo, Brooklyn does boxing and Romeo does karate, so they’ll all be ready. Cruz is the one who’s going to really look after Harper, he’s the tough one."
On Harper growing up so fast: "Harper is seven months now. I can’t even look at her without welling up."

The end of Chuck brought mixed reviews

"I am satisfied with the episode in general, but as a finale not so much. Seems more like a season finale that begs for more. I think the producers left the door open for possible other projects with Chuck. I certainly hope so. Chuck was pretty much the few show I have been watching on NBC these days. Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "If/Then"

Last year we had the Grey's Anatomy musical episode, and this season it's the alternate-reality episode. That's right: as Meredith ponders on the veracity of the phrase "meant to be," we get to see what could have been - or in this case, what was always destined to be. Though this is a filler episode if I ever saw one, it's still pretty fun to see the characters go down different paths (well, except for Jackson, who pretty much stays the same).

What we're treated to is a preppy-pink Meredith, a geeky Karev, and an even edgier Yang just to name a few. There are also plenty of shout-outs to characters from past seasons, like Izzie, George, and Burke. Ready to break down all of the differences? Just
