The following excerpt is from self proclaimed Bravo TV-aholic dsmrtgrl who posted it in on the OnSugar blog (Untitled) — Art Scene.
I heard that this show was in the makings over a year ago and was anticipating its arrival. I had this sinking feeling that this show was going to be nothing but a disaster, imagining mediocre artists from different backgrounds working in vastly different mediums with different levels of success and education, creating work based on a weak theme and then being judged by some of the art world's "greatest" art critics and gallery owners.

With Eclipse hitting theaters in just a little over a month, fans have been anxiously anticipating the soundtrack to accompany the third film in the Twilight saga. We won't get a chance to hear the tunes until June 8, but today the full track listing has been released!
I'm a fan of the New Moon soundtrack, and its follow-up sounds equally promising.

This week's Lost features the sideways life of one of my faves: Sawyer. The clever title is a nod to both the recon Sawyer does on the other island at the Hydra station, and a con-man reference to his alternate path in LA.
Naturally, there were a lot of big and little mind-blowers, so let's get to it when you read more

On the heels of ABC's announcements, NBC has declared what its Fall schedule will look like, with some shows not returning to the network and new original programming coming in. We'd already heard much of NBC's news, but here are some interesting tidbits from today:
- NBC has dropped My Name Is Earl and Medium, though it's possible other networks may pick those up. CBS appears fairly likely to snag Medium while Earl could land at Fox or ABC.
- Chuck fans will have to wait until after the 2010 Olympics to get their fix, as the show won't return until February 2010.

Did you know "The Way You Look Tonight" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song when it was featured in the 1936 movie Swing Time? I did not know this until I recently looked up all the Oscar-winning songs from the past and learned that there's a truly awesome playlist to be made from all those winners.
How else would I have thought to put together "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" (included in the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), "Moon River" as performed by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, "Flashdance" from Flashdance, "Lose Yourself" from 8 Mile and "Falling Slowly" from Once?

Welcome back to TV, Lost! It's like seeing an old friend. A sort of baffling, schizo friend, but nice and familiar all the same.

NBC started off this year's Upfronts more than a month early this afternoon, kicking off the frenzy of Fall TV announcements with its no-frills presentation (which took the form of either a PowerPoint presentation or a conference call, depending on where you were). While the format of the announcements wasn't thrilling, the content will give us much to speculate about over the next few months. Here are some of my initial thoughts:
- I think Save Friday Night Lights said this one best: Touchdown!
