The Golden Globe Awards "show" may have been lackluster for most people this year, but for six lucky Buzz readers, the Globes were pretty exciting!

NBC fought to keep the Golden Globe Awards on TV, but it looks like the network shouldn't have bothered: This morning's preliminary ratings show that just about 5.8 million people tuned into the network's news magazine broadcast hosted by Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell. That's about on par with the ratings-challenged Friday Night Lights, or slightly better than your average installment of America's Next Top Model.

Sweeney Todd instead of Juno. Marion Cotillard, not Amy Adams. Atonement rather than No Country for Old Men.

The dramatically scaled-back Golden Globe Awards spread things around Sunday night, with Atonement, Sweeney Todd, No Country for Old Men, and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly each taking home two awards.
Atonement and Sweeney Todd nabbed the night's biggest prizes, for the Best Dramatic Picture and Best Musical or Comedy Picture; Atonement also won for Best Original Score, while Johnny Depp won the Best Actor: Comedy or Musical prize. Diving Bell took home awards for Best Foreign Language Picture and Best Director for Julian Schnabel.

There are just a few hours left before The Big Press Conference announcing the winners of this year's Golden Globes. While it certainly won't be as fun or interesting as past Globes shows, at least we'll finally find out who won!
This also means you still have a few hours to submit your predictions for the winners with my online Golden Globes ballot.

Not much time left before the big press conference when we find out the actual winners, so if you haven't yet, fill out a Golden Globe ballot and be entered to win a crazy sweet prize. But for now, tell me:
