Song of the Day: Mew, "156"

But the Danish band's 2003 release, Frengers, is probably the superior album, and last week - at long last - it was released stateside.

I really love this track "156," which starts out sounding like bizarre, synthesized fantasy then morphs into a catchy pop number you might hear on "Laguna Beach." To listen to the song,

Take for example, the HP Pavilion g6. Sure, it's packed with a 15.6-inch HD display, up to 6GB of RAM, 750GB of hard drive space, and Intel dual-core and Core i3 processors for maximum speed and storage, built-in WiFi Wireless-N for fast web browsing, but let's be real - what gets you at first are the colors.

Coming in five fantastic color options - charcoal grey, luminous rose, pewter, pacific blue, sweet purple - and starting at $429, it's easy enough to buy one for yourself or splurge on a loved one by giving it as a gift. Mother's Day is right around the corner, you know. Other features include a web cam, SD card reader, and speakers with SRS Surround Sound. The only downer? The six cell battery that gives you around four and a half hours of juice. That aside, the g6 is looking mighty fine as a great all-around machine for work or play. Check out more images in the gallery!

The State of Eating Veggies in the US

The CDC estimates that only 14 percent of adults and fewer than 10 percent of teenagers in the US eat three servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit on a daily basis.

And you know, five servings of fruit and veggies is the minimum suggestion. Many health advocates believe we should be eating nine servings of produce daily. The percentages above represent the national average; in some states only nine percent of the adults eat enough produce. The CDC published this first state-by-state report to help us all understand how far off the mark we are when it comes to nutrition.

Here's the CDC list, ranking states from lowest to highest percentage of folks meeting the recommended servings of fruit and veggies.

1. Mississippi: 8.8%

2. Oklahoma and South Carolina: 9.3%

3. Alabama: 9.8%

4. South Dakota: 10.1%

5. West Virginia: 10.3%

Didn't see your state in the bottom five? Then keep on reading.

Will you be serving up white meat or dark? Perhaps you're be skipping the bird altogether and opting for a tofu version instead. Many people who avoid dark meat, thinking it's less healthy than white. Here's handy chart to see how they compare, and we've also added the stats on Tofurky.

While dark meat does contain a few more calories and fat, it also contains a considerable amount of iron, so go ahead and eat that drumstick you crave. Keep in mind that the skin contains a ton of calories and fat, so feel free to indulge a little, but don't go overboard. As for the Tofurky, I'm surprised to see that it contains so much fat and calories. At least it's low in saturated fat.

Enjoy whichever protein you choose, but remember that these numbers don't include stuffing or gravy on the side. So if you want to save room for a slice of grandma's famous pumpkin pie, limit the turkey fixings.
