The Guys That Should Be on Your Radar in 2014

The new year is here, and we're looking forward to seeing more of many of our favorite actors in 2014 — these six dashing dudes in particular. An MTV scene stealer, a Marvel villain, and a couple of budding YA movie stars are all on our list of guys we'd like to see more of in 2014. Take a look at the gentlemen we're talking about, and let us know who you are looking forward to spending more screen time with next year!

Michael B. Jordan

We've had our eye on Michael B. Jordan since he showed up on Friday Night Lights back in 2009. Since then, he had a run on Parenthood, starred in 2012's Chronicle, and most notably, he made a huge splash in 2013 with his profoundly dramatic turn in Fruitvale Station. We're really looking forward to seeing the lighter side — and, frankly, the shirtless side — of the actor in The Awkward Moment. Is it possible to steal the spotlight from Zac Efron? I guess we'll find out.

Dylan O'Brien

Despite not being the teen wolf on MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien has become an audience favorite on the show. He really wooed us as a tech-addicted college kid in The Internship, and we can't wait to see him take on the lead in the YA adaptation of The Maze Runner in 2014.

Alden Ehrenreich

His last name way be hard to pronounce, but Alden Ehrenreich is real easy on the eyes. He was all over the big screen in 2013, starring as the man candy in Beautiful Creatures and turning up next to Mia Wasikowska in Stoker and Cate Blanchett in Blue Jasmine. Audiences in 2014 can look forward to seeing him in Running Wild, and we can't wait for him to grab some more high-profile roles.

Ansel Elgort

Ansel Elgort is about to be your new favorite crush. He made his big-screen debut as the popular kid Tommy in the Carrie remake in 2013, and he's about to have a huge year, starting with his role in Divergent. We're excited to see his as Tris's intelligent brother, but even more stoked to see him take on a big part in the adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars. Yes, he's playing Shailene Woodley's brother in one film and her terminally ill boyfriend in another. We're only mildly creeped out.

Tom Hiddleston

What else can we say about Tom Hiddleston? The guy who stole the show in Marvel's Thor films and The Avengers will turn up in Muppets Most Wanted in 2014. If you're still wondering why everyone is obsessed with Hiddleston, you clearly need to pay more attention to the dancing machine off the screen. Say it with me now: we want more Tom!

Theo James

Ever since he starred as a handsome Turkish diplomat on Downton Abbey, we've been salivating over the Theo James. The actor has a huge year coming up, and fangirls (us included) are already beside themselves to see him play Four in the movie adaptation of Divergent. Those who have read the books might agree that he's perfect for the role of the emotionally guarded trainer/love interest. Even if you have no interest in the series, you'll still get to see him in two other upcoming films: Franny and London Fields, where he'll be starring alongside Johnny Depp, no less.
