Now You Can Get Even More of the Modern Family Crew
Sofia Vergara put her killer curves on display when she hit the blue carpet at the USA upfronts in NYC yesterday. She was joined at the bash by her Modern Family costars Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet, as well as USA stars like Matthew Bomer and Suits' Patrick J. Adams. Sofia and her castmates were at the USA event to celebrate the syndication of the show's old episodes on the cable network, which will begin on Sept. 24. Meanwhile, new episodes of Modern Family will continue to run on ABC.
Sofia has another big event to plan for — her upcoming wedding with fiancé Nick Loeb. She revealed in this month's issue of Cosmopolitan that she isn't going to plan a big splash event for the nuptials. Sofia told the magazine, "He was already married with a big wedding and I was already married with a big wedding, so we're going to do something but not right now."

The CW's New Fall Schedule: Almost Every Show Is Getting a New Night

If you're very used to your weekly routine with your CW shows, then get ready to be flexible, because the network is shaking up its entire Fall schedule. At this week's upfronts, the network announced that almost all of its returning shows will air on a new night (with the exception of The Vampire Diaries). For instance, Hart of Dixie is now on Mondays, Supernatural is on Tuesdays, and The Carrie Diaries will now be on Friday nights. It's not just veteran shows that are subverting expectations, either: the new The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals won't follow its sister show on Thursdays and will instead be on Tuesdays. Along with its schedule announcement, The CW also announced that Nikita will be wrapping up after its six-episode run in the midseason schedule.

Watch Trailers For CBS's New Shows
CBS has announced its new lineup, and among the returning shows, there are some promising new ones. Robin Williams is paired with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kal Penn is buds with Tony Shalhoub, and Dylan McDermott will appear with Toni Collette. Which series should you mark on your calendar? HIMYM's Final Season Has a Huge Twist
Following this week's big reveal of the mother on How I Met Your Mother, CBS has announced even more big news about the show. Entertainment president Nina Tassler has divulged that next season — the series's final one — will exclusively span the 56 hours leading up to Barney and Robin's wedding. Over the course of that time, each character will get to meet the mother, all culminating in Ted's eventual meeting with her.
Real talk: I'm bummed. Minus the progression of Barney and Robin's relationship, the last few seasons of the show have felt like filler. Finally we get to meet the mother, but after spending almost a decade watching Ted search for her, we're not even going to see their courtship! Maybe I'm overreacting. What are your thoughts?
Kerry Washington and Hayden Panettiere Keep Everyone Guessing
Kerry Washington teamed up with her fellow ABC stars for a special bash to celebrate the upfronts in NYC last night. She wore a red Marc by Marc Jacobs leather dress as she walked the black carpet alongside stars like Rebel Wilson, Hayden Panettiere, and the Modern Family cast. Hayden wore a purple Herve Leger dress and flashed a diamond ring inside the bash with boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko. However, despite persisting rumors that Hayden is engaged to Wladimir, she wore the ring on her right hand, not on her engagement ring finger.
Kerry's been preparing for the season finale of Scandal, which airs on Thursday. She stopped by Ellen to promote the episode, which she says ends with a "crazy" cliffhanger. Kerry added, "The season finale — the very last line of the episode, I almost couldn't get it out of my mouth."
CBS Fall Schedule: New Comedy Is King
Following in the footsteps of NBC, Fox, and ABC, CBS is the fourth network to unveil its Fall schedule during this week's upfronts. It's introducing five (out of eight) new shows this Fall, three of which will start out the week on Monday nights, in between established comedies How I Met Your Mother (in its last season) and 2 Broke Girls. The network is also bringing two new comedies to Thursday nights, featuring Robin Williams, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Will Arnett.
CBS has also moved Hawaii Five-0 to Fridays and stacked Person of Interest after NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles on Tuesday evenings. Stay tuned to find out when the network's three midseason shows will be scheduled.
