Brad Pitt Hits the Beach For World War Z

Brad Pitt wore a big jacket this afternoon to work on World War Z near the beach on the south coast of England. He's been in the UK doing reshoots for the action film for the last few weeks. He and fiancée Angelina Jolie have gotten accustomed to being in England over the last few months, since she also shot Maleficent there. Their six kids are settled down there for the time being as well. It seems the location has allowed Brad and Angelina to catch up with some of their old British friends. Angelina hosted an event for Ewan McGregor, a Scot, in honor of what she's dubbed his "honest" performance in The Impossible. She organized a special screening to celebrate Ewan's work last Sunday at London's Soho Hotel.

Brad Pitt Gets Bloody For World War Z Reshoots in London

Brad Pitt had his arm around actress Mireille Enos while on the set of World War Z in London today.

Brad Pitt had his arm around actress Mireille Enos while on the set of World War Z in London today. He and Mireille were back in character as husband and wife for reshoots on the movie, which is expected to hit theaters in June. Brad spent much of Summer 2011 working on the project, but due to budget issues, they are reportedly filming an entirely different ending written by screenwriter Damon Lindelof.

Brad and his family are back in the UK after also camping out there during production on Angelina Jolie's Maleficent. The overseas stay hasn't been all about work though, since Angelina took all six kids out in Kent last week. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox apparently sent letters to Santa Claus at the Littlebourne post office. The group is staying in a converted barn in nearby Ickham and have been spotted at the movies and shopping around town.

World War Z Trailer: Brad's Pitted Against the Zombies

In the trailer for World War Z, Brad Pitt is regular guy Gerry who's just trying to get through a traffic jam with a game of 20 Questions with his wife and daughters.

In the trailer for World War Z, Brad Pitt is regular guy Gerry who's just trying to get through a traffic jam with a game of 20 Questions with his wife and daughters. His sweet family moment is rudely interrupted, however, by a massive zombie attack, and the preview only intensifies from there. Though the zombies in World War Z aren't the funny, sorta-sweet kind we see in the Warm Bodies trailer, they're also not the sluggish undead we've come to know on The Walking Dead. To clarify: these suckers can run.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Gerry's position as a family man appears to be the heart of the film, rather than just another plot about a guy kickin' zombie butt. More than anything else, I'm excited about seeing Pitt as the action hero, which is a role we aren't treated to all that often. World War Z won't be released until next Summer, but get your first peek when you read more

Brad traveled between California and NYC to chat up the Aaron Sorkin-penned baseball drama, and we caught up with the actor at the Oakland premiere of Moneyball. Angelina Jolie stuck around England with their kids while Brad was off taking care of business. She and the children continued to explore what their temporary home base has to offer, including a group trip to Legoland and a special day with her oldest, Maddox, at a private flying lesson.

Brad Pitt Gets Explosive in Glasgow and Is Confirmed For Toronto

Brad Pitt acted in a dramatic, explosion-filled scene on the set of World War Z in Glasgow, Scotland, yesterday.

Brad Pitt acted in a dramatic, explosion-filled scene on the set of World War Z in Glasgow, Scotland, yesterday. While Brad has been working with controlled explosions for work, Angelina has been tackling the very serious issue of landmines in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. Angelina Jolie, Maddox, and Pax traveled to Croatia over the weekend to meet with an organization there about the devastating and dangerous situation, and she also spoke to the Halo Trust in Scotland about the landmine matter on Sunday as well. The Jolie-Pitts seems to be enjoying their leisure time at the Carnell Estate, where they are staying, which even includes a stream for fly-fishing. Angelina and Brad were spotted on a romantic walk through the grounds earlier this week. The family will be on the move soon, though, since Brad is officially confirmed to attend the Toronto Film Festival in just a few weeks ahead of the big Moneyball premiere in Oakland, CA, on Sept. 19.

Sexy Brad Pitt Gets Behind the Wheel For World War Z

Brad Pitt looked hot during a scene on the set of World War Z in Edinburgh yesterday.

Brad Pitt looked hot during a scene on the set of World War Z in Edinburgh yesterday. He drove a beat-up truck on his latest day of filming in Scotland after production moved to the country last week. Brad's been seen sipping wine in between takes and he also relaxed with a glass during a fishing outing with his kids. The youngest Jolie-Pitts continued the fun over the weekend when they played sword-fighting games outside of the Carnell Estate, though Maddox and Pax missed the excitement. The boys traveled to Croatia with Angelina Jolie, and the threesome caught a performance of Shakespeare's King Lear during their stay. Angelina also met with President President Ivo Josipovic, though she's apparently since returned to the UK.
