The cool kids kept it coastal this week — and the styles were just as eclectic as the locales. In New York, Prabal Gurung and company celebrated the arrival of the designer's ICB collection at Barneys with tacos, popsicles, and a lively set by indie-dance duo Tanlines. Hanne Gaby Odiele, Elettra Wiedemann, Dani Stahl, Leandra Medine, and Mia Moretti — who also pulled double duty as DJ — were among those in attendance; some even sported looks from the just-in collection. "Tonight is all about celebration, love, support," Gurung told the crowd before the band took the stage at the retailer's darkened Chelsea Co-Op store.

Over in Los Angeles, there was another young label celebrating the launch of its collection at Barneys as well: Vena Cava. Hosted by Gen Art, the party featured a gaggle of Cava gals — including Tennessee Thomas, Malin Akerman, Jenny Lewis, and Busy Philipps — sporting the brand's Fall 2012 looks while St. Vincent performed to a packed-in house at Chateau Marmont.

While the duo's latest London premiere pit stop was nothing short of all-out glamorous, it was Jessica's afterparty ensemble that left a lasting impression. Her formfitting green sheath elevated the verdant color to sultry new heights and to add to the cocktail-dress drama, she added leopard-print pumps and a stark white clutch. Jessica Biel made a costume change before heading to the Total Recall afterparty in London yesterday. She swapped her feathered Giambattista Valli dress in favor of a fitted green shift for the event, which immediately followed the film's UK premiere. Jessica has been across the pond on a press tour alongside costars Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale. It's their third stop overseas after screening the film in Berlin and Dublin earlier this week. Jessica seemed to enjoy her time on the red carpet in England, though, tweeting that "London fans rock."

Kate and Jess were a study in contrasts — Kate went for a long, black Donna Karan and Jess picked short, white Giambattista Valli. Kate's husband, Len Wiseman, was also on hand for the event. Jessica and Kate have become quite a premiere duo. They have their posing act down, having also taken the film to screenings in Dublin, Berlin, and LA. The picture debuted in the US earlier this month, but failed to make a big splash at the box office. The stars are hoping for more success overseas, and British audiences will have a chance to check out Len's directorial effort when it arrives in theaters Aug. 29.

Jessica made a fashionable visit to Kiss FM radio, while Kate and Colin swung by BBC Radio. The Total Recall stars have spent a lot of time together recently. They were in LA and NYC last week, then headed overseas to kick off the European portion of the tour. Kate, Jessica, and Colin went to Berlin before debuting the film in Dublin earlier this week.

The cast of Total Recall continued their string of press with a stop in Ireland yesterday. Jessica Biel wore a strapless Zac Posen dress while Kate Beckinsale went with a dramatic pink gown. Kate posed on the arm of her husband, and the movie's director, Len Wiseman, while Colin Farrell had his mom, Rita, by his side. Before Kate and Colin hit the red carpet, they stopped by a Dublin studio to chat up the project. Kate, Colin, and Jessica have been in front of the cameras for their film since July, though the overseas leg of promotions kicked off in Berlin just yesterday.

Kate's able to embark on the press tour with her leading man by her side — Total Recall was directed by Kate's husband, Len Wiseman. The remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie came out in the US on Aug. 3. It wasn't a hit with critics, but came in sixth at the weekend box office nonetheless.
