Bradley Cooper and his The Hangover Part II castmates Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, and Jamie Chung greeted fans at last night's Berlin premiere. The sequel, which hits theaters today, throws the wolf pack back into familiar circumstances after another bachelor party goes awry — read The Hangover Part II reviews to see what critics think of how the new installment compares to part one. The stars and director Todd Phillips had their first screening event last week on the West Coast, and made a stop in NYC for another showing earlier this week. Bradley managed to swing by SNL during his stay in the Big Apple, and joined host Justin Timberlake for the afterparty with Olivia Wilde. Bradley and Olivia were spotted sharing an intimate chat during the soiree, fueling rumors that they're dating.

The cast of The Hangover Part II got together with their director, Todd Phillips, for a screening of the comedy in NYC yesterday. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis made the trip east following the premiere of their film in LA last week, and they kept the fun coming with an afterparty at the Top of the Standard. Something Borrowed's Colin Egglesfield was there to show his support as was a pregnant Ivanka Trump, who tweeted that the movie was "hilarious." Also on hand were Victoria's Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Selita Ebanks, enjoying a funny break from their recent press for the lingerie brand. The sequel comes out on Friday, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, and early The Hangover Part II reviews seem to suggest that it's worth taking a trip to the theater between your BBQs and beach games.

Due Date: Survival of the Funniest

You know what kind of disaster movie Due Date is.

You know what kind of disaster movie Due Date is. It's not the kind where the world is about to end, but the kind where the main characters get into so many hijinks that you generally cringe in your seat for an hour and a half until they're in the clear. If you're lucky, there's comedy along the way that makes the pain worth it.

Robert Downey Jr. stars as Peter, an uptight man trying to get home in time for the birth of his first child. He's paired with Zach Galifianakis as Ethan, who gets himself and Peter kicked off their cross-country flight in the first act. Once Peter is stripped of his wallet, he desperately agrees to a road trip with Ethan, and they race against the clock from Atlanta to LA to get Peter into the delivery room with his wife.

Due Date hits its odd couple with every type of mishap: dangerous, awkward, illegal, and it doesn't let up until the final minutes of the movie. But is it worth the trip? Find out when you read more

Zach Galifianakis, RDJ, and Todd Phillips Due It Up at LA Premiere

Zach Galifianakis toted his adorable French Bulldog costar on the Due Date premiere red carpet in LA last night.

Zach Galifianakis toted his adorable French Bulldog costar on the Due Date premiere red carpet in LA last night. The twosome posed with director Todd Phillips, Michelle Monaghan, and Robert Downey Jr. on their way in to show off the buddy comedy. It's Todd's highly anticipated followup to The Hangover, and the crew from that movie, which also includes Zach, recently reunited to start shooting the sequel. There's already been a bit of controversy surrounding The Hangover 2, and Mel Gibson is reportedly furious over losing his cameo, which was given to Liam Neeson instead. Zach was rumored to be adamantly opposed to Gibson's appearance, and the comedic actor has more clout than ever these days. He recently signed on for The Muppet Movie, and his HBO series, Bored to Death, was renewed for a third season. RDJ, meanwhile, has been in London getting to work on the Sherlock Holmes followup alongside Jude Law and Guy Ritchie.

Amazing Duo Alert: RDJ and Galifianakis Team Up For Due Date

If people didn't know about Zach Galifianakis before The Hangover they are in love with him now, and while it was hilarious to see him playing alongside Ed Helms and Bradley Cooper, his next costar for an upcoming comedy is pretty amazing, too.

If people didn't know about Zach Galifianakis before The Hangover they are in love with him now, and while it was hilarious to see him playing alongside Ed Helms and Bradley Cooper, his next costar for an upcoming comedy is pretty amazing, too. Robert Downey Jr. and Galifianakis will star together in Due Date, a movie that reunites Galifianakis with his Hangover director Todd Phillips.

According to Phillips, Due Date is "a buddy comedy without the buddies." The story follows an expectant father (RDJ) who "finds himself on a road trip with a mismatched partner, as he races to get there before the birth of his first child." Galifianakis is a perfect choice for RDJ's "mismatched partner." I think I've rarely wanted to be on the set of a movie as much as I'd love to be on this set. What a pair! It sounds like Due Date will be yet another major success for Todd Phillips, and I can't wait to see what he and this cast come up with.

What Should Happen in the Hangover Sequel?

Director Todd Phillips was reluctant to talk sequels a few weeks ago — before The Hangover took American box offices by storm — but now he's all about a Hangover 2.

Director Todd Phillips was reluctant to talk sequels a few weeks ago — before The Hangover took American box offices by storm — but now he's all about a Hangover 2. The sequel may begin shooting as early as Spring 2010 and will definitely feature the same foursome that currently has audiences rolling in the aisles. Phillips noted, "I wouldn’t do it unless all four guys were back. I love The Hangover so much and I think we could crush it with the sequel. I’ve never had more fun making a movie, ever. Not that Old School wasn’t fun, but these guys were so hungry and ready to kick ass everyday. We just all gelled so well on this film."

There aren't many movies for which I'd truly like to see a sequel, but The Hangover is definitely one of the few. I love the dynamics between these guys, I love the writing, I like Phillips' direction and, of course, I love Zach Galifianakis. They cover a lot of crazy ground in that movie, so I'll be curious to see what else they come up with for a sequel. What do you think should happen in a Hangover sequel? Should we see more of Justin Bartha's character? Or is the Stu-Phil-Alan trio too funny on its own?

The Hangover: Dudes Being Ridiculous(ly Funny)

One of the most satisfying things about The Hangover is that what you've seen in the trailer is what you get.

One of the most satisfying things about The Hangover is that what you've seen in the trailer is what you get. Not in the sense that there are no surprises (oh, holy cow there are surprises) but in the sense that if the movie looks good to you when you watch the trailer, it's highly likely you'll love the movie (and the opposite is true as well). I found it to be funny and crude and perfectly cast. There are a few clunky scenes and the script isn't exactly flawless, but the characters are so great and so hilarious together, you can't help but be pulled into this totally messed up adventure.

Doug (Justin Bartha) is about to get married and his two pals, Stu (Ed Helms) and Phil (Bradley Cooper) are bringing him to Las Vegas for one last crazy hurrah. Tagging along is Doug's strange soon-to-be brother-in-law, Alan (Zach Galifianakis). The four men arrive in Vegas, toast to Doug's upcoming nuptials and proceed to have a wild night that nobody can remember in the morning. The wicked hangovers are the least of their problems that morning, however: Stu, Phil and Alan have lost Doug. They can't find him anywhere, but they do find a variety of other things, like a lion in the bathroom and a baby in a closet of their hotel room. Bit by bit, the trio pieces together the events of the night and try desperately to find their friend. And we audience members know nothing more than they do, so we make all these discoveries right along with the bumbling, accident-prone gang. There's so much to like about this comedy, so read more

Why I Love

Why I Love . . . Zach Galifianakis

I really liked The Hangover, and the main reason for this is Zach Galifianakis, who consistently steals the show with his deadpan performance as Alan, a bizarre and sometimes slightly disturbing young man who joins his soon-to-be brother-in-law and two other guys in Las Vegas for a bachelor party weekend.

What I know of Galifianakis is mostly based on his performance in The Hangover and his online videos (I especially like his music videos and his interview series Between Two Ferns). I've never seen him live, though I hear he's even more hilarious to watch in person.

In a recent interview, Hangover director Todd Phillips summed up for me precisely what makes Galifianakis's kind of comedy so effective — and so endearing:

And I think with Zach, I don't think anyone has it expect maybe Will Ferrell doing comedies right now, is the sweetest, most innocent eyes and face, so he can get away with so much. So much of the comedians we all love, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, there's a darkness to them, which is what we love about them, but you look at Will's eyes and there is no darkness in Will, and there is no darkness in Zach. It's just sweetness, so they get to get away with sh*t that no one else can get away with.

It's also just refreshing to see a new face amidst the same old comedic group we've been watching for years, and apparently Phillips had this in mind when he cast Zach: "I really wanted this movie to feel as real as possible and I really feel like we've been seeing the same ten faces in a lot of movies, not just comedies but movies, and I just thought let's shake it up."

Well, he shook it up! And once The Hangover comes out, I'm sure Galifianakis will score legions of new fans which will, awesomely, lead to that sweet and "innocent" face appearing in more hilarious projects. I can't wait.
