This Means War

In This Means War Reese Witherspoon plays a woman tasked with a tough challenge when she starts dating two guys (Tom Hardy and Chris Pine) at once, who just so happen to be secret agents and best friends. Her choice becomes harder as the super spies pull out all the stops to win her heart, including some hilarious hijinks meant to sabotage the other's efforts. It may be a corny premise, but it's easy to fall for both leading men and the script keeps it light and funny. Extras include commentary by Director McG, deleted scenes, and alternate endings.

The Woman in Black

In the Edwardian era, a young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) travels to a small town to manage the affairs of a recently deceased local. While he is there, he finds the real case is a string of child suicides in the area. Though he still has many demons of his own, he attempts to investigate as more children die at their own hands. Locals alert him of the legend of the Woman in Black, and before long, he has his own run-ins with the ghost, who is none too pleased to have a man encroaching upon her space. DVD extras include commentaries and behind-the-scenes and making-of featurettes.

Supernatural teens used their powers to win the box office this weekend, as new sci-fi release Chronicle won first place with $22 million. Daniel Radcliffe's horror flick The Woman in Black was hot on its heels, though, earning $21 million in its first weekend. Last weekend's box office winner, The Grey, came in third with $9.5 million. John Krasinski and Drew Barrymore couldn't pull off a Big Miracle for their film, however, opening in fourth place with just $8.5 million. Rounding out the top five was Underworld: Awakening, with $5.6 million.

Though Harry Potter will be moving on to greener fictional pastures after this Summer's release of The Deathly Hallows Part II, star Daniel Radcliffe is forging ahead with his movie career.

He stars in the Gothic horror film The Woman in Black as a lawyer who finds himself haunted when he travels to a small village to organize the affairs of a deceased client. The short teaser is our first look at the movie, and though it's free of dialogue, it's pretty creepy. Daniel Radcliffe flashed a smile between takes on the set of his new movie The Woman in Black in London yesterday. November is set to be a crazy month for Daniel and his Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows costars as they prepare to premiere what is far and away your most anticipated movie of the month. Emma Watson has been studying hard during her sophomore year at Brown and enjoying the freedom to cut her hair, but the British Vogue December cover girl will be back in the spotlight soon when the promotional appearances start. The first half of the final Harry Potter installment is also among Buzz's must haves and makes its world premiere in the UK on Nov. 11.

Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy Score New Roles

Looks like the magic of Harry Potter will still be affecting the stars of the franchise even after the final films: both Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton have recently scored new roles.

Looks like the magic of Harry Potter will still be affecting the stars of the franchise even after the final films: both Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton have recently scored new roles.

Radcliffe has a busy schedule that includes a Broadway stint and a remake of All Quiet on the Western Front, and now he's adding a horror movie to his resume. He's set to star in The Woman in Black, based on the novel by Susan Hill.

Meanwhile, his onscreen nemesis Tom Felton just nabbed a role in The Rise of the Apes, the sequel to The Planet of the Apes. Felton will play Brian Cox's son, and the star-studded cast also includes James Franco and Freida Pinto.

I'm excited to see what these boys can do outside of the wizarding world, though after Felton's cameo in Get Him to the Greek, I wouldn't mind seeing them take on lighter fare.
