Jennifer Lawrence hit the Saturday Night Live stage as host this weekend, and as you would expect, she reprised her role as Katniss in a spoof of The Hunger Games. Along with Taran Killam as a sad, ignored Peeta and Bill Hader as Seneca Crane, the most recent winners of the Hunger Games held court at a press conference, where they were asked to address such burning questions as whether Katniss was using performance-enhancing drugs and just how much taller Katniss is than Peeta.

Dean Pelton devises a way for the students to compete for registration and devises "The Hunger Deans," which obviously necessitates him to wear Katniss's Girl on Fire dress.

Here's Your First Official Look at Jennifer Lawrence in Catching Fire!

We've been dying for any glimpse we can get of Catching Fire, and today we've got a big treat!

We've been dying for any glimpse we can get of Catching Fire, and today we've got a big treat! Entertainment Weekly has the first official look at the Hunger Games sequel on this week's cover, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and newcomer Sam Claflin as Finnick — all suited up and ready for their second time in the arena. I'm already hungry for more pictures, but in the meantime, Claflin is looking pret-ty good with that trident, no? In the issue, Lawrence jokes about her candid interviews with the media, while Claflin admits that he's moderately terrified of the Hunger Games fan base. Here are highlights:

  • Jennifer Lawrence, joking about running her mouth to reporters: "It’s almost like I subconsciously don’t want to work anymore, so I’m trying to ruin my career. I'm pregnant!"
  • JL on crazy antics between takes: "When Sam [Claflin] walked in, I was chasing Woody [Harrelson], and we’d flipped over my couch, and Woody had a sock all the way down my throat . . . "
  • Sam Claflin on taking on a more provocative scene from the book: "The scariest moment of my life. I’m on Twitter, and so many people have been like, 'Don’t mess this up, or we will kill you.'"

Shirtless Josh Hutcherson Catches Frisbees on the Set of Catching Fire

A shirtless Josh Hutcherson hit the beach in Maui Tuesday while hanging out on the set of Catching Fire.

A shirtless Josh Hutcherson hit the beach in Maui Tuesday while hanging out on the set of Catching Fire. Between takes, the actor entertained himself by tossing a frisbee back and forth with one of his costars. Josh's anchor tattoo on his side was exposed, as well as the nautical design between his shoulder blades, but he also sported a nasty battle wound on his neck. The gash was all for show, but the movie makeup managed to hold up even as Josh took a dive into the Pacific and went for a swim.

Josh and Jennifer Lawrence began shooting in Hawaii late last month and it appears the Hunger Games sequel has its stars spending plenty of time working in water. Josh and Jennifer wore wet suits last week as they dove into action. Josh isn't the only guy to bare his abs this year. Check out the best shirtless moments of 2012 and vote for your favorite!

Catching Fire Set Pics: See Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson Dive Into Action

Jennifer Lawrence was back in full Katniss mode, complete with her signature braid and bow and arrows, on the set of Catching Fire in Hawaii this week.

Jennifer Lawrence was back in full Katniss mode, complete with her signature braid and bow and arrows, on the set of Catching Fire in Hawaii this week. She was joined by her costars Josh Hutcherson and Sam Claflin, who play Peeta and Finnick, respectively, in the Hunger Games sequel. The story takes Katniss and Peeta back into another Hunger Games, and this time the arena is mostly covered in water, which explains the wetsuits and diving we're seeing here. Check out all the pics to see Peeta get a helping hand from Finnick, Finnick taking a dive, and Katniss chowing down on some fruits of the sea.

Jennifer Lawrence suited up in her Katniss Everdeen gear to film scenes for Catching Fire in Maui yesterday. Josh Hutcherson was also in character on the ocean set. Jennifer arrived in Hawaii last week and spent a few days relaxing in the sun before getting to work. Jennifer wore a bikini on the beach with her brother on Thanksgiving Day, after also sporting a two-piece the afternoon before. While Jennifer focuses on the Hunger Games sequel, her other project, Silver Linings Playbook, is in theaters. The movie is getting great reviews and was even up for the best ensemble performance honor at last night's Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC, though the cast of Your Sister's Sister took home the win.

The Hunger Games Alert: See the First Poster For Catching Fire!

Since The Hunger Games came out way back in March, it's been a while since we've gotten an update about the sequel Catching Fire.

Since The Hunger Games came out way back in March, it's been a while since we've gotten an update about the sequel Catching Fire. That all ended this week, when Jennifer Lawrence spilled about her misadventures filming the movie on location, and now we have an exciting treat: the Catching Fire poster! Like the first Hunger Games poster, it's a motion poster, and it's similar to the first one in that it features an aflame mockingjay pin, but in this new poster, the mockingjay does something a bit different — something that has me so pumped for the next installment. Combine that with the exciting music and like that, I've got goosebumps. See the poster in all its animated glory after the jump.
