The Hangover Crew Hits the Beach!

Heather Graham sported a printed bikini while hanging out at Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday. She splashed around in the waves with her The Hangover Part III costar Ken Jeong before leaving in a red dress and oversize sun hat. But Heather and Ken weren't the only cast members enjoying some downtime on the beach. Nearby, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis hung out on the shore in tiny, colorful swim trunks, while Justin Bartha showed PDA with his fiancée, Lia Smith, after a jog near the water. Bradley Cooper also joined the group, walking along the beach before sitting down on a blanket with director Todd Phillips.

The group is in Brazil to promote the third and final installment of the Hangover franchise and arrived in Rio after premiering the movie in Paris over the weekend. Earlier in the day, Bradley spent time shirtless on his hotel balcony, snapping photos of the scenery on his iPhone. The actor has been making sure to document his trip overseas, and even took pictures with fans on the red carpet during the film's Paris and London screenings. In addition to having photography skills, Bradley is in the running for our POPSUGAR 100 contest, so make sure to vote for him!

One of the most highly anticipated box office rivalries of the Summer has been settled, resulting in the biggest Memorial Day weekend total box office since 2011. Fast & Furious 6 emerged victorious with a $98.5 million haul, while its stiffest competition, fellow new release The Hangover Part III, earned less than half as much, taking in $42.4 million. Last week's winner, Star Trek Into Darkness, added $38 million to its total, while animated family film Epic earned $34.2 million in its first week. Iron Man 3 hung in the top five with $19.4 million, and Richard Linklater's Before Midnight took in $274,000 in limited release.

The Hangover Part III: What Happened in Vegas Should Have Stayed There

When The Hangover was released in 2009, nobody was expecting much from the comedy starring three under-the-radar actors — which is exactly why the surprisingly hilarious and original film took the world by storm and killed it at the box office.

When The Hangover was released in 2009, nobody was expecting much from the comedy starring three under-the-radar actors — which is exactly why the surprisingly hilarious and original film took the world by storm and killed it at the box office. Fast-forward four years, and we're upon the release of The Hangover Part III, which suffers from the opposite effect. The film is highly anticipated by fans hoping to re-create the magic of the original (and forget Part II), but aside from a few sporadic laughs, the film is another disappointing installment in a franchise that should have quit while it was ahead.

I have to give some credit to director Todd Phillips, who at least tried to go in a new direction with Part III. The "what happened last night?" formula showcased in the first two films is left behind this time, favoring a straight plotline centered on Alan (Zach Galifianakis) hitting rock bottom and the Wolfpack setting off on a road trip to get him to rehab. You don't need me to tell you that the plan goes terribly awry when Doug (Justin Bartha) is taken hostage and the guys are tasked with tracking down the elusive Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong). What you may not expect is that the story is so uneven that I actually found myself missing all the blacked-out-drunken drama. Without that element, it feels like one of the characters is missing from the movie.

The Hangover Part III Trailer: 3 Things We Find Out

The first teaser for The Hangover Part III is awesome, but it left me with so many questions.

The first teaser for The Hangover Part III is awesome, but it left me with so many questions. Why is the Wolfpack stuck in yet another dangerous situation? Where is Stu's face tattoo? Why does Alan have a pet giraffe? Some of these get answered in the brand-new trailer, and we get a lot more information about the movie, opening May 24. Even if you've seen the teaser, here's why you might want to check out the full trailer.

  1. Alan gets an intervention. Apparently Alan (Zach Galifianakis) has been off his meds for six months, so the gang comes together to help Alan agree to go to rehab, and even Phil (Bradley Cooper) is supportive.
  2. We find out more of the plot. The Wolfpack gets hijacked in the desert on the way to rehab by a gangster (John Goodman) looking for Mr. Chow. He forces the boys to track him down, leading them to both Tijuana and Vegas.
  3. We know why Doug isn't there. Of course, Goodman's character decides Doug (Justin Bartha) is the best guy to kidnap as insurance. Why does it always have to be Doug?

Well, that's certainly not the case for the third film — director Todd Phillips has been documenting filming via Instagram, snapping shots of Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and the rest of the gang. The Hangover Part III Trailer: Bradley Cooper and the Boys Head Back to Vegas

This week we got a peek at the first poster for The Hangover Part III, and now we get to see the Wolfpack in action in the first teaser for Todd Phillips's comedy.

This week we got a peek at the first poster for The Hangover Part III, and now we get to see the Wolfpack in action in the first teaser for Todd Phillips's comedy. This time, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Stu (Ed Helms) are reunited when Alan's father dies, and somehow they end up on the road to Vegas together, possibly with the intent of burning down the city. The teaser doesn't give that much away about the film, but it does give us a sneak peek of Alan's angelic voice, returning players Ken Jeong and Heather Graham, and new cast members John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy.

The Hangover Part III is supposedly the last film in the series, and I really hope it can recapture some of the magic and originality of the first one, because the second one was kind of a disaster. I'm also going to need a little more information before I can get jazzed about the movie. Like where did Stu's Mike Tyson tattoo go? And why are they even going back to Vegas? We'll get a full-length trailer before the film's May 24 release, but until then, you can watch the teaser after the jump.

The Hangover Part III Channels Harry Potter in Its First Poster

If the first poster for The Hangover Part III is any indication, come May 24, Las Vegas has a lot more to fear from the Wolfpack.

If the first poster for The Hangover Part III is any indication, come May 24, Las Vegas has a lot more to fear from the Wolfpack. Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong are fiercely facing off as Alan and Mr. Chow, and they look a lot like another hero/nemesis duo we know. The likeness to the poster of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is definitely on purpose, right down to the "It All Ends" tagline, and I kind of love it. Get a load of the one-sheet and compare it side by side to its magical counterpart.
