In today's PopSugar Rush, we get "the details" on Tobey Maguire's new film and his quality time with his The Great Gatsby costar and close friend Leonardo DiCaprio! We caught up with Tobey at last night's premiere of The Details, his dark comedy releasing this Friday. Costars Kerry Washington and Dennis Haysbert both talked to us about their awkward and active moments working with Tobey. Plus, Tobey and Kerry explain why neither of them have their sights set on the White House — although Kerry does reveal her fictional presidential crushes!
Sundance Snapshot: The Details
I've already given you the scoop on My Idiot Brother, but the Paul Rudd comedy isn't the only film that Elizabeth Banks was promoting at Sundance. Her second movie, The Details, is also about a family, but that's where the similarities between the two end. Here's more about the black comedy.

- Who's behind it? The film stars Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Kerry Washington, Ray Liotta, and Laura Linney. It was written and directed by Jacob Aaron Estes.
- What's it about? Jeff (Maguire) and Nealy (Banks) have been married for 10 years, and are starting to feel the negative effects of suburban married life: they rarely sex anymore, and they're constantly at each other's throats. When he's not escaping to the world of Internet porn, Jeff becomes obsessed with trapping the raccoons that have been destroying his new lawn. Between his two new hobbies, Jeff inadvertently sets off a chain of events that get him into more trouble than he ever could have imagined.

James McAvoy, Elizabeth Banks Team Up For Dark Comedy

Aww, this cast is so adorable: James McAvoy, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Friel and Laura Linney have all signed on for the dark comedy The Details. No real details yet on Friel or Linney's roles, but apparently the story centers on a couple, to be played by McAvoy and Banks, "who discover an infestation of raccoons in their back yard. Disagreements over how to deal with the animals lead to an escalating series of events."
There's not too much to say about this project yet besides the fact that I'm so intrigued to see Banks and McAvoy together onscreen. I never would have thought of pairing up these two, but now that I think about it, this seems like it could be really funny (and McAvoy is always very easy to watch, of course). Who else would you want to see teamed up with James McAvoy? Do you think he and Banks will do well together?
