HBO is full Summer force with True Blood premiering last Sunday and Entourage and Hung just around the corner — but the fun will continue well into the Fall. Today we get our first look at the return of Bored to Death, Jason Schwartzman's crime caper comedy that also stars Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis. The second season looks just as dryly funny as the first — and let's face it, with these three you really can't go wrong. Check it out when you read more

Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen Increase Their Curb Appeal

Actor couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen have purchased an absolutely charming home in LA's Brentwood neighborhood for $3.11 million.

Actor couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen have purchased an absolutely charming home in LA's Brentwood neighborhood for $3.11 million. The four-bedroom, three-and-one-half bath home has a great, wide, columned front porch met by a stone walkway and beautiful landscaping out front; it's a far cry from the sequestered, gated celebrity homes we often see. Inside, the home is very nicely decorated, with lots of color and comfortable furnishings; if I were them, I'd want to buy it as is! The bones of the house are wonderful, too, with plenty of built-in cabinetry, dozens of windows, and handsome hardwood floors, as well as updated appliances like a Viking stove. Take the full tour — trust me, you'll want to.

SJP Has SATC Support at Her New York Morgans Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in black for the NYC premiere of Did You Hear About The Morgans?

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in black for the NYC premiere of Did You Hear About The Morgans? last night. SJP looked gorgeous in bright pink with costar Hugh Grant at the London screening last week, and this time she had some girls to pose with too. Fellow members of the Sex and the City fab foursome Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon joined in the fun. On the red carpet, SJP had nothing but kind things to say about Miley Cyrus who she joked is surprisingly tall "like a Viking" and is making a cameo in the anticipated sequel. Most of you weren't loving the first SATC2 tease poster, but it's still a thrill to see the ladies together on the red carpet. Sarah has this movie to support before it's out on Friday, and a few more months until SATC2 mania sets in leading up to the May release.

Tina Fey reunited with 30 Rock guest star Jon Hamm Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in LA. He hit the red carpet alongside girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, with both of them looking happy as usual. Another new episode of Mad Men aired last night, so check out Buzz's highlights here. Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara also arrived side by side, while Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez — who won for Wizards of Waverly Place — went solo. HBO had a big evening, taking home 16 statues for the technical work in Grey Gardens among other programs. Tina Fey continued her successful award show streak, winning one for her appearances as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live.

Flashback: Ted Danson Picks Up a Book, and That's It

Is this Ted Danson's long-lost audition tape for that sleazy bartender he played on Cheers?

Is this Ted Danson's long-lost audition tape for that sleazy bartender he played on Cheers? As he reads pick-up line after pick-up line from a book that looks like a prayer book (perhaps, not so different?), he acts the part of a creep as well as he wears that argyle sweater. "God gave you a beautiful body," he says, "share it." God gave you a lot of hair, Ted, cut it.

First Look: Schwartzman, Galifianakis in HBO's Bored to Death

A weekly dose of Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis on my TV?

A weekly dose of Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis on my TV? Yes, please! HBO has released a teaser for its newest half-hour comedy series Bored to Death, which will premiere in September. Zach Galifianakis was recently added to the show, which is pretty brilliant casting given the success of The Hangover. The comedy star power doesn't end with those two — as you'll see in the trailer the series also features Ted Danson, Parker Posey, and Kristen Wiig. So great!

Schwartzman plays Jonathan, a struggling writer living in Brooklyn who drinks a lot. For no apparent reason he decides to become a private detective. Galifianakis plays his friend who writes comic books. The whole thing looks pretty funny and full of promise. To check out the trailer and tell me what you think, read more

Glenn Close and Damages Hold Court at TCA

The first season of FX's Damages was enthralling and chilling, and from just the couple of minutes we got to glimpse Tuesday morning at the TCA press tour, the show still has its captivating qualities.

The first season of FX's Damages was enthralling and chilling, and from just the couple of minutes we got to glimpse Tuesday morning at the TCA press tour, the show still has its captivating qualities. The show's main cast — including two of the three new cast members, William Hurt and Timothy Olyphant — was on hand to discuss a bit of what we'll see in the coming months, and I already feel sucked back in to the Damages universe. Some of this is spoilery, so if you don't want to know anything about season two, stop here — but if you want to hear about the new characters, the evolution of Ellen, and the fate of Arthur Frobisher (well, maybe), just read more

Opening January 18, 2008 Mad Money finds three ladies forming an unlikely team to rob their employer. Apparently, it's based on a true story. It appears that there's the sassy lady played by Queen Latifah, Diane Keaton plays the clever older lady and Katie Holmes has the role of the quirky free spirit who dances her way, um, everywhere. Also, Arthur Frobisher Ted Danson is in the film. To check out the trailer for Mad Money which looks neither bad nor awesome, read more
