Vanessa Hudgens showed off her glamorous side last night at the LA premiere of Sucker Punch, donning a Spring '11 Jenny Packham silk chiffon beaded gown. Up front, the silhouette looks covered up and chic, but the back tells a sexier story thanks to that cool cutout detail. The dazzling doesn't stop there: her wavy updo is on our list of Spring DIYs, and we love how she decked on the funky jewels. Check out the slideshow to see Vanessa working the red carpet from all angles!
Jon Hamm Joins Vanessa, Abbie, and More to Celebrate Sucker Punch
The ladies of Sucker Punch like Vanessa Hudgens and Abbie Cornish joined their leading man, Jon Hamm, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, for their LA premiere last night. The screening brought out other actresses from the project like Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, and Emily Browning, who are all featured in the pages of the new Nylon magazine. Other stars like Derek Hough, Emma Roberts, and Malin Akerman stepped onto the black carpet as well to enjoy the evening out at Grauman's Chinese Theater. BuzzSugar had a recent sneak peek at photos from the movie, which was directed by 300's Zack Snyder. The plot is centered on a young girl, played by Emily, who fantasizes about escaping from a mental ward, and it arrives in theaters tomorrow.
Abbie Cornish Wears a Bra to Talk About Her Gun-Loving Vegetarian Ways in GQ
Abbie Cornish has double the promotional duty to do with her Bradley Cooper film Limitless hitting theaters Friday and her new movie Sucker Punch coming out this month on the 25th — check out just-released photos from that film featuring Abbie along with her costars Vanessa Hudgens and Jon Hamm. She stripped down to pose for the April issue of GQ magazine, and inside she chatted about all the fun she had learning to shoot a gun for her project with Jon. She said, "I'm a vegetarian — I'm not the type to want to go shoot a gun. Then I actually got to the range and totally fell in love with an M4. It was kind of amazing."

Vanessa Hudgens Covers Shape: "I Was So Unhealthy."
Posing in a pink bikini, actress Vanessa Hudgens looks ab-tastic on Shape magazine's April cover. In the issue, the star opens up about her favorite workouts (kickboxing, Pilates, and spinning) and gets real about her 2007 fast-food addiction. Four years later, Vanessa is eating healthy and kicking major butt in the action-packed Sucker Punch (out in theaters on March 25), a role she had to get in major shape for. Check out what else Vanessa had to say:
- On her past fast-food addiction: "I was so unhealthy. I used to go to Cold Stone Creamery, get a tub of Butterfinger ice cream and eat it all before bedtime. And my fingers were permanently stained orange from Cheetos . . . I lived on Hot Pockets and never touched vegetables; I needed to do something about my diet."
- On her now love of healthy eating: "It's [spinach salad with grilled chicken or salmon, almonds, feta, truffle oil, and Himalayan sea salt] my favorite meal . . . I like egg white omelets with veggies or oatmeal with almonds and fruit . . . When you're putting good stuff into your body, you feel so much better."
- On the benefits of working out: "Exercise is amazing from the inside out. I feel so alive and have more energy."

Which March Movie Release Are You Most Excited to See?
The box office has been hurting in 2011, but as we inch closer to Summer blockbusters, the movie offerings are getting better and better. March brings out big stars like Matthew McConaughey and Matt Damon, along with Johnny Depp's kiddie flick and and a handful of action movies. Which one are you most excited about?

Sucker Punch's Second Trailer Is a Little Easier to Follow
When the first trailer for Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch was released, we were confused to say the least. Luckily, this second version does a better job of setting up the film — at least a teeny bit. The basic plot: a girl named Baby Doll tries to shoot someone and gets sent to a mental ward. While in lockup, she dreams up fantasies as a means of escape (alongside recognizable faces like Vanessa Hudgens and Jena Malone). The preview still has all of the crazy CGI of the initial footage, but thankfully, it's not quite as frenetic. Watch when you read more
The Trailer For Sucker Punch Packs a Visual Wallop
Zack Snyder's trailer for Sucker Punch is action-packed, frenzied, and frankly, it makes my head spin. Featuring everything from dragons to burlesque to samurais, it's a minute and a half of imagery overload, and if it wasn't for Comic-Con, I'd honestly have no idea what was going on. Luckily, I did sit in on the film's panel, so I can shed some light on this preview.

The premise is this: Emily Browning plays Baby Doll, a young girl who gets sent away to a mental institution, where she tries to escape with dream sequences starring her fellow patients (Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Vanessa Hudgens, and Abbie Cornish). Carla Gugino plays a Polish psychiatrist (that's her in the voiceover), and Jon Hamm also stars, but alas, he doesn't appear in this footage. The unusual storyline obviously gave Snyder plenty of opportunity to play, and boy, does he. Still, I can't decide whether the movie is going to be amazing or a dizzying mess. Give the trailer a peek, and share your first impressions when you read more
