The Company You Keep Trailer: Shia LaBeouf Hunts For Robert Redford

Shia LaBeouf is a determined reporter in the hunt for a story in the thriller The Company You Keep, which also stars Robert Redford as the subject of his unwelcome attention. Jim (Redford) is a former student activist, who has lived in peace for decades hiding from the government. His world is rocked when he sees that one of his demonstration colleagues (Susan Sarandon) has been arrested for murder by the FBI. As Jim flees, Ben (LaBeouf) takes on the case of tracking him down and uncovering the secrets he's buried for years.

Admittedly, this isn't a new concept and I can think of a handful of movies it resembles, but I'm excited to see the genre through Redford's directorial lens. I can totally see LaBeouf as a scrappy reporter, and I'm excited about the bank of supporting actors like Stanley Tucci, Richard Jenkins, and Anna Kendrick. The Company You Keep is premiering next week at the Venice Film Festival (then showing a couple days after that at the Toronto International Film Festival), but there is no official US release date yet. Check out the trailer after the jump.

Stanley Tucci is engaged!

Stanley Tucci is engaged! Stanley popped the question to his girlfriend, Felicity Blunt, and she debuted her new diamond ring at the NYC premiere and afterparty for Rampart on Tuesday night. Felicity and Stanley were set up by her sister, Emily Blunt, who costarred with Stanley in The Devil Wears Prada and, apparently, thought the two would be a good match. It will be Stanley's second marriage after his first wife, Kate, died of breast cancer in 2009. Felicity works as a literary agent in London. The actor, who is 50 and has three young children, and Felicity, 31, first got together earlier this year. Congrats to the happy couple!

Stanley Tucci Joins The Hunger Games Cast

May the odds be ever in his favor!

May the odds be ever in his favor! Stanley Tucci has been cast in The Hunger Games as Caesar Flickerman, the longtime host of the Games. Flickerman also serves as the charismatic interviewer of the players, so he has a lot of action with main characters Katniss and Peeta (Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson).

Along with Elizabeth Banks, Tucci is one of the bigger names to become attached to the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins's book. For those unfamiliar with the plot, the story is set in a post-apocalyptic future in which the country's teens are forced to fight to the death in order to entertain the citizens.

Movie Preview: A Beefed Up Chris Evans Is Captain America

The Super Bowl is usually rife with clever ads, but I also keep my eyes peeled for the new movie trailers.

The Super Bowl is usually rife with clever ads, but I also keep my eyes peeled for the new movie trailers. If you paid close attention during this year's commercial breaks, you probably caught a handful of spots for upcoming films, including a closer look at Captain America: The First Avenger.

Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers, a scrawny military hopeful who submits his body to a research project. After entering a special scientific chamber, he emerges with a six-pack that could put The Situation to shame. The preview also includes quick glimpses at Stanley Tucci, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving (donning his grotesque makeup as Red Skull), and love interest Hayley Atwell. Take a look and share your thoughts after the jump.

Anne, Natalie, and Mila Unite For the Gotham Independent Film Awards

Many of Hollywood's leading ladies stepped out in NYC last night for the annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.

Many of Hollywood's leading ladies stepped out in NYC last night for the annual Gotham Independent Film Awards. Anne Hathaway celebrated her appointment as cohost of next year's Oscars in her Dolce & Gabbana dress, and she spoke about her excitement over the honor. She said, "I found out that I'm one of three women to host since . . . I think it was 1987. Maybe I'm the fourth, I'm not sure. I'm still learning all the amazing statistics that I almost don't want to know because it gets a little bit too intimidating." Black Swan's Natalie Portman, in a piece from Lanvin for H&M, and an Oscar de la Renta-sporting Mila Kunis were there to watch as their director, Darren Aronofsky, took home a prize for his work — check out the evening's other winners. Leighton Meester was back in the US after a quick trip to Spain to make a daring appearance in a Thom Browne suit along with a maxidress-wearing Amanda Peet and a Lanvin-clad Julianne Moore.
