It's getting closer and closer to the finale of So You Think You Can Dance, and the top eight dancers were incredibly strong during last night's performance. However, America voted, and the bottom four dancers were Caitlynn, Jordan, Tadd, and Jess. I felt like Jess had the strongest solo with his incredible leaps and turns, so I was completely shocked when the judges decided that it was time for Jess and Jordan to go home. However, I think the judges want to see more growth from Caitlynn and B-boy Tadd. How do you feel about these eliminations? Was it time for Jess and Jordan to hit the road, or do you wish that they had a place in the top six?

This week judges picked the top 10 dancers on So You Think You Can Dance after the final 12 danced for the last time with their partners. It seemed like every couple struggled with technical challenges, but it was Caitlynn and Mitchell, Ryan and Ricky, and Sasha and Alexander who were the bottom three couples.

Ultimately, the judges eliminated Ryan and Alexander. Ryan was expected, having been in the the bottom three for several weeks, but Alexander was a big surprise. Did you agree with the judges' choice for top 10 dancers, or do you think they made a hasty decision?

As So You Think You Can Dance's eighth season moves right along, we're already down to 12 contestants. And after tomorrow night's show, we'll be looking at our top 10. We've already lost a few people that I liked (Nick, we hardly knew ye), but I feel like we're at that sweet spot of the show where we're really seeing the strengths of each performer and getting fixated on the dancers we really like.

Personally, my favorites right now are Melanie for her skillfulness and onstage vulnerability, and Jess for his showmanship. Is there anyone you're liking a lot at this point of the competition? More importantly, who do you think could go all the way?

Another two bit the dust on So You Think You Can Dance. After the top 14 danced this week, the bottom six denizens were Jordan and Tadd, Ashley and Chris, and Ryan and Ricky.

For the second week in a row, a complete couple went home: Ashley and Chris. It was not really a huge surprise since these two have been in the bottom before, but I still enjoyed their routine this week. Do you think it was time for them to go home, or should other dancers have been eliminated?
