With two big blockbusters based on Snow White last year and now both Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella films in the works, fairy tales are making a comeback. It's clear the modern masses continue to be drawn to storybook tales of fair maidens and prince charmings. So if you are looking for some dreamy, whimsical, and outright magical wedding ideas, then take a journey through our favorite fairy-tale-inspired weddings.
Disney Princess It Girl: Snow White's Pop Culture Evolution
We've all got fairy tales on the brain, as the very first Disney princess, Snow White, is having her moment in the sun. This year we've got not just one but two star-studded movies about Snow White, her evil stepmother, and those seven mining dwarfs. First up was the Lily Collins-Julia Roberts version Mirror Mirror, and starting today Kristen Stewart will take on the role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
While the flicks differ in many ways, they both portray the heroine as more of a modern woman who doesn't need a Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet. This is a far cry from the Disney version we're all familiar with, but Snow White has taken on many different forms since being brought to the masses by the Brothers Grimm in their 1812 German fairy tale Schneewittchen und die sieben Zwerge (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves). Find out more about the inspiration for their tale and how Snow White has been portrayed in literature, art, film, and TV over the years.

Dueling Snow White Movies: How to Tell Them Apart
2012 is the year of Snow White. There are currently two different films on their way into the theater based on the classic fairy tale: Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman, due June 1, 2012, and Relativity's Mirror Mirror, which is scheduled to open this weekend. As they've come together, it's been tough keeping up with the separate films and trying to not get them confused, so I'm helping you out. Check out who's who in each movie now before you see them and have the chance to determine which movie is the fairest of them all.
See Even More Pics of Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen, Armie Hammer's Prince Charming in Snow White
The battle between the dueling Snow White movies just got a little more exciting, thanks to new pictures from Relativity's still untitled film. We've already seen Lily Collins as the young fairy-tale icon, but now we've got a taste of Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hammer as Prince Charming. Hammer looks picture perfect as Snow's knight in shining armor while Roberts looks deliciously wicked (if not a bit reminiscent of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland). Check 'em out.

Buzz In: Who Would You Cast as the New Snow White?
Brett Ratner is looking to do with Snow White what Tim Burton did with Alice in Wonderland. The director has jumped on board to produce an edgier version of the fairy tale that will be less Disney-fied and more in line with the darker tones of the Brothers Grimm (hence its tentative title: The Brothers Grimm: Snow White). Forget sweet woodland animals — this time, the dwarfs are robbers, and a dragon will make an appearance. Oh, and like most recent releases, it's in 3D.
I'm not sure how I feel about the same man who brought us Rush Hour taking on a beloved fairy tale, but let's talk casting for the iconic role. I can almost picture someone like Emma Watson or Lucy Hale, but who would you like to see in the part?
Etsy Find: Cool Vinyl Laptop Decals
If the Twilight laptop skin isn't your thing, then maybe this selection of cool and geeky ones will be. I first found this awesome Snow White laptop decal (which reminded me of yet another Twilight-themed decal), which incorporates your Apple logo into the piece. But then I kept browsing the shop and got hooked on all of the totally geeky decals, which can be used on your laptop, your Kindle, your walls, or wherever you want to stick 'em.
Good news is that these decals were made to be attached and then pulled off later, so you won't have any sticky residue after you've outgrown your artsy vinyl. Plus, with prices starting at $13 each, you can't really go wrong. Check out a few more of my faves below!

Snow White and the One Woman Show!
We all know how the fairytale goes, but even if we didn't and we were up a creek without a translator, we'd get what's going on here. Through the use of a topsy-turvy wardrobe thingamajig, this lady puts on one heigh-ho of a show. Check it out.
