I'm officially in love with this apartment. It's classically cool in a way that evokes sharp suits and the Rat Pack. Can't you just imagine mixing a martini while grooving across the gray shag to a Janelle Monae song? If you're lucky enough to get an invite from owner Sean Diddy Combs, you can do just that, while enjoying a gorgeous Central Park view.
Given that media mogul Diddy tends to live in a larger-than-life manner, I was expecting something a little blingier from the Get Him to the Greek star's new abode. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised with the apartment's luxurious furnishings and perfectly edited palette.

The look of Diddy's new digs comes courtesy of Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, principal designer at BNODesign, who also designed the Mondrian hotels in Los Angeles and Scotsdale. Thanks to Mr. Noriega-Ortiz's thoughtful restraint, the apartment exudes classic glamour, and seems like a perfect retreat for the multitasking celebrity.

Rapper and mogul Diddy was in San Francisco last week promoting Cîroc, his vodka brand. I was lucky enough to sit down with the musician, and we chatted about entertaining.
