We caught up with Sam Claflin at tonight's LA premiere of Catching Fire, where we asked him about shaving his chest to play Finnick and how his wife reacted to some of the more violent skills he picked up while training in the arena. He also told us about the unique term he uses to describes his friendship triangle with costars Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence.
Jennifer Lawrence made a grand entrance at the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in London on Monday. She looked stunning in a white Dior Haute Couture dress while her costars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Sam Claflin suited up in sharp ensembles. While Jennifer was joined on the red carpet by her costars, she did skip out on a photocall with her castmates earlier in the day, perhaps due to her hectic schedule. Jennifer recently went on a tour of the biggest tech companies in Silicon Valley for the film's Global Fan Day and attended AFI Fest in Hollywood on Friday to show support for her Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle director David O. Russell.
Sam Claflin has yet to to make his big-screen debut as the charming Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but he's already melting hearts. The British actor posed with Honey, the canine star of Despierta América, when he made a stop by the Spanish-language morning show at Univision Studios in Miami today. Sam isn't the first studly actor who has gotten to hold Honey; Channing Tatum and Matt Damon have also gotten some one-on-one time with the teacup Chihuahua.
Sam has been busy doing promotional work for the latest installment of the Hunger Games franchise. The actor was joined by costars Jenna Malone, Bruno Gunn, Meta Golding, and Jeffrey Wright at a mall appearance in Philadelphia on Sunday. They will all soon travel to London, where they will attend the world premiere of Catching Fire next Monday.
We've got new pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and the rest of the cast as their characters in Catching Fire! Plus, we'll tell you how Lorde and Christina Aguilera are joining the Hunger Games family.
Jennifer Lawrence had a jam-packed 24 hours at the Cannes Film Festival. She kicked things off with a photocall alongside her Catching Fire costars Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, and then Jennifer slipped into a gorgeous Dior gown for the evening's marquee premiere. On Saturday, Jennifer joined her boys for the official Catching Fire party. She wore another Dior — this time white with a flower detail — before switching into a gray number. Once inside the bash, Jennifer sat close to Liam, but also stayed glued to her iPhone. Jennifer showed off her big smile while chatting with fellow partygoers. Liam and Jennifer later called it a night, leaving Catching Fire supporters to mingle with models in their Capitol finest.

Entertainment Weekly has the first official look at the Hunger Games sequel on this week's cover, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and newcomer Sam Claflin as Finnick — all suited up and ready for their second time in the arena. I'm already hungry for more pictures, but in the meantime, Claflin is looking pret-ty good with that trident, no? In the issue, Lawrence jokes about her candid interviews with the media, while Claflin admits that he's moderately terrified of the Hunger Games fan base. Here are highlights:

2012 was a breakout year for so many male stars. There were plenty of men who made their mark on TV, including Emmy winners Damian Lewis and Idris Elba and Revenge star Josh Bowman. Several of the guys we already love have a major 2013 ahead as well, like Anthony Mackie, who will appear in Gangster Squad, The Avengers 2, and Runner, Runner. We can't forget some of our favorite Brits, either, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Sam Riley, and Sam Claflin.
We're two days into 2013 and optimistic about the twelve months ahead. With so many talented men on the scene, we want to know — which of these guys are you most excited to see more of in the year ahead?
